Breaking MLM News: Troy Dooly publicly apologizes to Rod Cook aka MLM Watchdog and Len Clements
Tonight I received an email from Rod Cook, someone who I call a friend and personal mentor, which I have edited and listed below.
In Rod’s email it is very clear he has received several phone calls from folks telling him I have slammed him in some form or another. He also alludes to the fact he has talked to Len Clements who also feels something I have said was disrespectful.
I am making it clear right now I do not have anything but the utmost respect for these two MLM leaders.
Rod Cook and Len Clements are true advocates to this profession, and two gentlemen I respect and learn from. As a matter of fact they may have forgotten more about this great profession that I will ever know.
Rod and Len I am truly sorry for whatever I said, and if you will direct me to where it is posted, I will gladly removed it. It was not, nor is it today my intention to have anyone think of you two as anything but men of uncompromising integrity.
Here is the edited email Rod sent to me.

So I get upteen calls Troy Dooly just bashed ROD COOK to the world…. Len is not happy either…. If you were a scumbag like Dr. John Taylor….. There would be a counter attack to no end…
It takes money to fight for good in this world…. But there is only one goal…. Contribute to the good of people that want to work.

I just saw your video blog and wanted to clear something up. I have not had any communication with Rod about anything you have said. I have no idea what he is talking about, nor have I expressed any concern to him about anything related to you.
Rod did email me very late last night about you attacking us, but he did not specify what he was talking about and I have not yet responded to him.
The only thing I can even imagine that this has something to do with is your announcement that you are no longer affiliated with any M.L.M. and then Jim Bartlett commented: "Troy is now the ONLY industry watchdog/advocate I know of who is not either on retainer with or actively building an mlm. If someone is getting paid by an mlm corporate, they will either publish biased reviews OR…or they will be silent if the company paying them does it's reps wrong. Either way, you do not get fair and accurate reporting. Troy, I genuinely respect what you are doing!" Now, THIS comment I found a little offensive, but of course this has nothing what-so-ever to do with you. But I'm as desperate for an explanation as you are.
I have absolutely no problem with anything that you are doing my friend, and there is nothing that you need to apologize to me for.

I hope you the best and I am certain all of the mess will get cleared up.
On another note, A good friend of mine was contacted by a distributor of an MLM nutritional company, and that distributor told my friend that his company has made an agreement with the PPO Health Care Industry, that customers and distributors buying that companies products will now be reimbursed for the purchase of using their products. I find that statement to be reckless.Have you heard anything in the MLM world about this or is this just some sort of bull, if it is bull we need to get this kind of stuff out of the market, and at that time I will expose the company and the distributors name. I have to say that I know the person that has made this statement and his credibility has always been in question with many people when it comes to MLM and things that pertain to his business. Let's all get along!

I find the statement from the distributor interesting, but not sure how true it would be. There is at least one MLM I know of which has been endorsed by one of the top hospital groups in the nation, and this hospital group uses the product with hospital clients in specific situations. But, no one makes money on this specific situation except the hospital.
I would like to have more information for research. But on the surface I do not see any facts being presented, jusy hype to bring a new person into a business.

Since you did not leave an email I can't contact you directly. However, we are tracing the IP Backwards to see if you are affiliated with the URL based out of Panama.
No one hacked the site, but they did take the theme shell and do some crazy things. The funny part is they must noy know my background.
Life is always an Epic Adventure, and our attorney's have alredy contacted Domains By Proxy and our friends in the US Attorney's office.
Keep an eye on things no telling what might happen next.
