This blog post is the first in a series of blog articles on how to create a successful video marketing campaign to build their networking marketing business by driving top quality prospects back to their MLM lead capture page, replicating websites, blogs or social profile pages.
Now, if you have already started creating social media profiles at sites like YouTube, Revver, GodTube or some other social video sharing site, you may feel that you do not need to read this article or the series of blog articles to follow. However, I suggest you continue reading for just a little longer.
As most folks know the first step in creating your video profile is to actually sign up for the video site itself. Although this may seem fairly there is one very important element you need to focus on when you are about to get started.
Choosing Your Social Media Account URL Correctly
This is by far the most important step overlooked by most people. And it’s also the main reason why most network marketers starting out in video marketing never get the views, traffic, new business partners or sales they desire, and quickly give up on creating a successful internet based MLM marketing business.
The reason your choice of profile URL (user name) is so important is because the search engines will pick up on its use. Remember this first step in creating your social media profile is just as important as choosing a keyword rich blog title or domain name.
If you have not watched the video above, I give an example of what we used when we created our YouTube and Revver profiles for MLM Leads. This one small step can truly make or break your search engine optimization results when it comes to driving traffic back to your main website or blog from your viral video posting.
So take a few minutes and write down several key words or phrases from the niche you will be shooting videos for. Now make sure you pick a niche you know something about. It’s always easier to dominate a niche you know something about and love since you will be talking about it.
You may be wondering what I mean when I say “niche” since you thought MLM was a niche. MLM or Network Marketing is nothing more than the compensation plan your primary marketing company decided to use to payout commissions.
So, what you need to do is make sure you understand what industry or niche your MLM Company is a part of. IN my case I happen to be blessed to override the largest network marketing organization in the managed computer services & identity theft protection niche.
If you happen to be like my good friends Scott Graham and Chad Boswell, and are distributors with Drink ACT, then your niche is Energy Drinks. So take time to fully understand which niche you are focused on dominating and becoming the ultimate authority.
Now if you know what niche you are going to dominate, you are ready to start shooting your first video.
In closing remember, you want your acct name on all of your social video sites to be keyword rich. However, don’t just throw in keywords. Make yourself something catchy and easy to repeat.
In our case we use “Best MLM Leads” or “MLM Leads” in all of our accounts. Word of mouth is powerful and in our niche people will remember “Best MLM Leads” or “MLM Leads”
So in closing let’s recap. When you are ready to create your social media profiles, you much pick an account URL name which is keyword rich and will allow you to dominate your niche.
