Many people go through life wanting success and wishing and hoping and desiring it, but down deep inside, at an unconscious level, they feel that they do not really deserve it. Haven’t worked hard enough, not special enough, not important enough, not good enough, etc.
We have been studying and working on the laws of success for the well over 20 years and one thing that rings so true is this:
Your success grows in direct proportion to your self-worth.

In order for you to receive financial abundance, you must be in a place in which you are feeling deserving of that success.
There is magic in understanding that success comes as a results of feeling worthy. As your self-worth increases, you naturally get into the flow of doing what you love and being rewarded for it.

Raising your self-worth can be as easy as thinking about one really great thing about you. Embrace that quality. Build and expand upon that. Liking yourself requires you to really tune into and be who you really are. Take time to discover that. Ask your friends what qualities you have that they really like.

If you are in a negative environment surrounded by negative people….CHANGE your environment and the people you hand around with. You have all heard that your net worth and the money you make is an average of the 10 people you are closest to.

If you are not satisfied with where you are at, change the people you hang around with. Hang with successful people that will support you and your goals and dreams. Go to meetups and put yourself in a position to meet those people.

Look for them online on linkedin, facebook and twitter and follow what they do. People are willing to help. Steve Jobs, when talking about what made him so successful said one of the reasons is that he wasn’t afraid to ask people for help. Most people are not even willing to pick up the phone and ask or reach out.

Begin to take steps toward your feelings of self-worth today! Life is not a dress rehearsal. You deserve to live the life you dream about. Surround yourself with people that encourage and support those dreams. Your Worth it!

During the 18 to 20 months MLM Wireless War, one issue continued to plague the distributors, and to some degree the company owners as well; most did not fully grasp the wireless supply chain. After months of research, we have finally decided to write a short piece explaining the roles of each wireless supplier.

National Mobile Network Operator

• Owns and operates the national wireless backbone
• AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile (may soon merge with AT&T), Sprint/Nextel
• Controls the wireless industry

Regional Mobile Network Operator

• Owns and operates wireless networks in specific U.S. regions
• U.S. Cellular, Metro PCS, Leap Mobile
• Controls regional backbones, and sometimes run franchise operations

Mobile Virtual Network Operators/Resellers

• Resells, rebrands and rebills network from one of the national or regional network operator
• Coast2Coast, ACN, Lightyear Network Solutions, CenturyLink, Virgin Mobile, Telispire
• Offer bundled packages of hard-wire and wireless, multiple wireless networks, limited support

Master Dealer/Agent

• Multiple providers of services and devices, no rebranding or rebilling
• ViTel, ZurVita, Intelisys, Order Experts, World Telecom Group, Telecom Brokerage Inc.
• Potential risk to sub-agents if master dealer has issues with national or regional operator

This gives a small look at the supply chain of providers of wireless services and how things really work. Telecommunication, especially mobile/wireless opportunities all look like great ways to earn money from home. However, before you just jump into the next great deal, please take time to do some due diligence.

How To Spot A Real Savvy Successful MLM Diva

I wrote an article a couple of years ago titled “Six Desires Women Need and Want” where I shared the foundation of how to market to women professionally and with respect.

However… Today I want to cover a different side of women. A side which, men in Network Marketing think they understand, but my research has proven otherwise.

A few years ago Todd Falcone did a great job of capturing the desires of network marketing women in a CDs series called “Diva’s of MLM“, and sold a boatload of CDs. It raised an important question with me – “Are the majority of women MLMers really Gold Digging, Money Hungry Divas, or are they women focused on a crusade to change their world?

Here is what I have discovered…

Women in Network marketing are more interested, than just bringing home the bacon, or being known are Divas. As a matter of fact the DSA did a blind survey which has revealed some great insight into what motivates women to do what they do. And if we men will study it, we will find out how to not only attract these women to our organizations, we’ll learn from them!

They interviewed 2000 women in direct sales and here are the results based on what is most important to women in Network Marketing today

Time – “I’m in control of my time.” Women want to be in control of their time more than anything else. Most women are, either part of a dual-income family or raising their family as a single mom, quality and quantity time with their families is more important than ever.

Building A Better World – This is the second most important factor in why women enter and succeed in MLM. Women, are created as givers, not takers, and when they find a company who has the same values as they do, then you have a match made in heaven.

Finances – If you listen to the CD series I mentioned above you would think making “significant income” is what is most important. However, in the DSA survey it came in 14th. However, earning “EXTRA INCOME” has always been a top motivator, but in today’s MLM world the motivation behind earning extra income has changed. If you look back just 8 years ago women were looking for extra income to buy more things to make their homes look good, or to make themselves or family members look good.

Today, women are driven to earn extra income so they can pay off debt, and to gain better control of their personal and family’s financial destiny.

Something else I found interesting in my research is the fact, after years of being taught “don’t talk about how much money you make” women today are proud to share about their financial successes.

Fairness – Fairness is something very seldom found in “Corporate America.” So when women learn that in the Network Marketing profession we pay the person, not the position, they usually succeed at levels even they sometimes never expected.

On the other hand, if at any time a female MLM distributor feels she has been treated unfairly, it is very hard to earn her trust back, and in most cases she will leave and take her organization with her.

Remember, women build deep and lasting relationships, so when one of mistreated, her friends will take it personal and leave with her.

Now, there is a time when the above principle can be violated. If a woman comes into MLM from a bad relationship (personal or business) she sometimes has a hard time believing that she can make the world a better place, and will self-sabotage her own success and those around her.

So remember “Fairness” is just as important to women as her family. Besides haven’t you ever hear “Nothing is more deadly than a women scorned!”

Recognition – Most women (men for that matter) do not receive enough personal recognition for the work they do. If a woman is a stay-at-home-mom, most people will never see or understand all she does. If she works for Corporate America then she is always bumping her head against the glass ceiling, and fighting off the blows of the corporate politics.

So when they come to Direct Selling, and receive recognition for their hard work, two things happen. First their self-esteem is given a much needed, and well desired boost. They realize they can succeed and change their world. The second thing it does, is show her family just how important she is, and in most cases they start to look at her in a whole new light.

So ladies the next time you take the kids to soccer practice, wash five loads of clothes, home-school your kids, or take a verbal beating from your corporate boss, just remember… You are LOVED by your team!

Now don’t get me wrong, we still have room for improvement here in MLM. And men, we need your help in making these improvements.

It is up to us who love this profession to share with others the unlimited possibilities people of all backgrounds have to change their lives, and to replace their full-time nightmares with part-time dreams.

So my final conclusion is this… Women are not money hungry, gold digging divas. They are the backbone of the network marketing profession and the future of America.

MLM Editorial: The Conversation Continued On Big Dog Deals

This conversation has been going on for years. However, over the last 36 months it has taken a front-seat due to the decline in the economy, and the consolidation and merger of some direct selling companies. This is the most current conversation I was a part of and my video editorial.

This is the last article I’ll post on this issue. After the first two articles a pattern emerged that I feel we should all think about – Communication and Trust!

After reviewing all the emails, videos, and phone messages, it is very clear, that although Robert Dean sees this as just another in a line of “Business Decisions” he has made over the last few years as he strives to find the right company for his team. However…

What has emerged is the fact that some folks don’t see this as a business decision at all, they see it as a broken relationship. As I read and listened to everything that was sent my way, I realized this is no different than a marriage or any relationship where communication and trust as been replaced with silence and suspicions of what is really happening.

Although an argument can be raised as to the right or wrong on both sides of the contractual side of this issue. On the relationship side of things, I do not believe there is a right or wrong. I believe that the perception from both sides is right based on where they are coming from.And…

If each side will take some time to reflect on what is really at the heart of things, everyone will agree this is far more than JUST a business decision, it is a HEART ISSUE!

I remember one time early in my marriage, I broke my wife’s heart. After what seemed like eternity, we made up and have been growing together for over 23 years (half of our lives). After we got back together she made a statement I have never forgotten…

“Honey I had you on a pedestal, yuou were might knight in shining Armour, who would never do anything to hurt me, and would always protect me. I now know you love me, and would not hurt me on purpose, but you are only human!”

John Maxwell taught me a very valuable principle called the 101% Principle. Find the 1% you can agree and give it 100% of your efforts!

Below is some examples of both sides and how strongly they feel about this situation. Review what I wrote then take a few minutes and see if you agree with my deduction that this is truly a HEART ISSUE!

One thing is that Mr. Dean is a great individual. He has been mentoring me since I was 18 years old, when I first started in this industry. I’m 23 now, and I thank God for the impact he has had on my life, He has not only been a mentor, but Mr. Dean is like a father to me. I am very close to his family; his son and I are best friends. He has spent numerous amounts of times showing me what to do, KEY showing, not telling. Last year, I basically lived with him, He allowed me to drive many of his cars, cars way over $100,000.00.

He would also leave his son and I alone in his home, (1.5 million dollar house), when he left to go do in home meetings all over the United States for other teammates. People thought he was crazy to allow a guy my age have so much access. But all cars and house was only material things to him. He was more focused than that.

I would watch Mr. Dean allow hundreds of people come do tours through his home, bring teammates in on bus loads, paid all expense, even taken hundreds of people out to eat at one time, whisper to the waitress, and say bring me the check, then tip him or her with the biggest tip I have ever seen. I seen him give away cars at events that he put together for our team and paid for IT himself.

Mr. Dean is what I call a real mentor, my experience is like those you see in the movies and read about in the history books. He is a coach, teacher, motivator, and Father figure to me and my team.

I have watched him juggle many things, and handle multiple chaotic situations at one time, and remain focused. I even watched how he takes care of his family and handle their issues while dealing with issues from his team as well. Get everything in control. His key word to every issue was “No Problem” and that it was.

The focus and determination he has is out of this world. I have seen at events where there were over 20,000 people, and he would get rampaged. He would stand and talk in one place for over an hour without moving or rushing out. He even drove 6 hours to do an in home meeting for me for a group of just 6 people.

One time he even got in an accident in his $200,000 Mercedes on the way to my in home meeting, and he still came. He is a dynamic person and always thinking about other people. Even small things like when I follow him and we go through a toll booth, when I get up there it was paid for already. One thing he always told me is “You have to have the patience’s of Job” (Job from the bible). He also always told me “Don’t do what I say, Do what I do and catch up”

I am grateful for TOPGUN and Mr. Dean. I’ve been the child that TOPGUN raised, my team is called YOUNGGUNS and all we do is do what Mr. Dean does and follow his example. Because no matter what he always leads by example. That’s why I am the master leader to this day.

This Christmas was the best Christmas ever, he is a man of his word, because months before we came to our prior company he said that we would have a great Christmas. I got a black BMW and I was making a couple thousand a month, WOW. My life had changed because of what he had done and showed us what to do.

This industry is bombarded with too many stories about the big leaders and there BIG CHECKS. This industry has forgotten about the stories like mine and my team. The stories like how I was driving a little blue Honda that I could barley make a $390.00 payment on just 4 months ago, and now I drive a Black BMW, that my COMPANY pays for.

Because of the impact Mr. Dean has had in my life, it has CHANGED! I am so grateful and I thank the Lord for the Experience I have had. No matter what people say, what lies they spread about him and how they can try to destroy his image. I know the truth and I have experienced the truth, Robert Dean is a man of integrity and Honor. To me he is a legend that the YOUNGGUNS TEAM WILL CARRY ON!

During our conversation, Kerry said he would get Robert’s permission to send me his response to Nick Sarnicola’s original letter to the Top Gun Team. We recieved this letter before it went public, but as we did with Nick Sarnicola we waited until Mr. Dean released it to his Top Gun team.

I have been in and around the MLM lead generation niche since the turn of the century. I have seen the good, bad and ugly in this niche. And without a doubt there is a place in your marketing for high-end professionally generated MLM leads. The question is where do you get them?

Without a doubt the most recognized name in MLM lead generation is Cutting Edge Media. However, did you know cutting edge is not the most hit search result for MLM Leads? Nope that goes to Enrique Garibay’s company MLMLeads.com.

Both of these companies provide solid MLM leads, however if you are working on a budget, or are pooling your marketing dollars with your team, there is an alternative. It is a little time consuming, but at the end of the day, you may find it works better for you.
