I didn’t know what to expect when I walked into the opening evening of the DSA Annual Convention. I was carrying preconceived ideas which I had accumulated from past association members, former company owners, consultants and distributors alike.
What I found was an association with a dedicated team, who are as focused on the success of direct sales as are the distributors which make up the backbone of this great marketing channel.
I listened as attorneys’ lobbyists, company executives, and suppliers, and supporters of direct selling shared their passion. But most of all I found that the concerns of distributors, and company owners are the same.
In the above example I show where the #1 concern of the DSA company members is the “Image of Direct Selling.” This is when I realized the DSA and other associations, which focus on the distributor side share the same vision.
As a Board Member of the Association of Network Marketing Professionals, our goal is to educate folks on the positive side of our great profession and to enhance the image so critics, regulators, and the media understand how valuable direct selling is to the overall economy.
This is the same vision carried by the DSA and her member companies.
After the three day convention was concluded and I flew back home, I made a decision to launch a new Blog dedicated to stories about companies and leaders who are DSA members. I will continue to support the profession as a whole here on our main blog, but I believe companies who are willing to put their money where their mouth is, deserve to be recognized for their dedication to the longevity of Direct Sales.

I believe distributors should be expressing to their respective companies the need to join the DSA, and over the next few months we will go into dept how the DSA legal and ethic teams fight on the behalf of all companies and distributors everyday.
