Breaking MLM Wireless News: What Does Global Verge Data Network Affiliates and MLM Help Desk Have in Common?

This week has to go down as one of the wildest in current MLM Wireless News history. First we broke the story of Greco scamming or trying to scam companies such as Data Network Affiliates, Global Verge aka Global Mobile 1, WOW Mobile, TeleVerus, and Panther Mobile.

Then yesterday I received a copy of a Cease and Desist letter which was delivered to George madiou, CEO of DNA. (Read It Here)

The letter is from the law firm of Marquis & Aurbach out of Nevada.

Then today, we received our own Cease and Desist letter from the same law firm. I quickly called the new attorney of Global Verge Brian Hardy to get a little more details, and to give him my unofficial response: (Read It Here)

1. Mr. Hardy made it clear that he is in the final stages of putting together the civil case against Chris Greco and will be forwarding their findings to the FBI within days.

2. I explained Kevin Thompson will be representing me officially in this situation, but unofficially, I will not remove anything on the site, until I have received valid evidence that Mr. Brady has in fact filed the case against Greco on behalf of his client Global Verge.

3. We will be making some updates over the next few days to the Global Verge/Zer01 situation, making it clear Global Verge is asking for a Summery Judgment in the amount of $350 million dollars

And out of fairness to the Global verge distributors, I will also be placing the above video on a few of the previous Global Verge posts.

Now things could get very interesting in the MLM Wireless Wars. Some of the supporting documentation is very eye opening and brings in some players from other current MLM Wireless Companies.

How Long Has MLM Help Desk Known Phil Piccolo Has Been With Data Network Affiliates

Well, it seems some folks think the connection between Phil Piccolo and Data Network Affiliates has been a secret. And I guess it might have been for folks who have no interest in DNA until we posted on Chris Greco’s travels through the different MLM Wireless Companies.

So how long have we known Phil Piccolo aka Warren Anthony has been a part of DNA?

1. Our first post on Phil Piccolo is dated on March 5th, 2010 “Data Network Affiliates and narc technologies May Be Lying to their Distributors

Inside this post you will read “But… After talking with Dean, I started doing some new research and realized that although Rod Cook the MLM Watchdog broke the story of Phil Piccollo being the mastermind behind DNA and Business From Home put up a review of Phil which set off a wave of controversy. And let’s not forget Patrick Pretty was really the first big blog to break the stories on both Narc Technologies (Narc That Car) and DNA (Data network Affiliates.) “

“If it’s true that Phil Piccolo is the mastermind behind DNA (Rumors are starting to flow that Phil may also be focusing on Automatic Geek another MLM startup) and the FTC comes down on this company. Then these both Arthur Kurek and Donald Kessler could be fined huge amounts for allowing Piccolo to run the company behind the scenes. But even worse Arthur Kurek who has worked in the highly regulated Insurance Industry for over 40 years could see his career go down the drain, or at the very least be faced with early retirement.”

Second Post was published on March 10, 2010 Phil Piccolo Calls and Threatens to File Lawsuit Against MLM Help Desk and Troy Dooly

In this post we list the following.

1. Phil Piccolo, if he is not MLMs most notorious scammer, (which by the time I am done, I will know one way or another) has to be one of the most unlucky MLM professional in history.

2. If Phil Piccolo has harmed you, your team, or your family in any way, I want you to write a comment below and let us know.

3. Phil Piccolo has at least one very well respected MLM Professional as a very close friend. This person is someone I respect, admire and have called on more than once for advice, either directly or through the training they provide.

4. Phil Piccolo understands I will not take anything off of MLM help Desk, but I will continue to write blog posts, and shoot videos sharing the facts as they become available.

What I want from every person who reads this blog post, is for you to write a comment covering one of the following…

1. If Phil Piccolo has helped you, your team or your family in any way, I want you to write a comment below and let us know.

2. If Phil Piccolo has harmed you, your team, or your family in any way, I want you to write a comment below and let us know.

Now ask yourself… What category is this post listed?
Data Network Affiliates! From the moment Rod Cook and Ted Nuyten went public, we started guiding distributors who are a part of DNA to continue asking the hard questions.

In reviewing all the comments here and elsewhere, DNA reps have and still are asking the hard questions.

On March 16, 2010 I wrote the post on George Madiou is Officially the New CEO of DNA

1. I still have the same concerns as I have had since day one of the legality of using an MLM compensation structure to pay distributors for collecting license plate data.

2. I believe without proper training the distributors who collect this data are leaving themselves and the company open for huge litigation.

3. I respect George Madiou and believe he cares about the distributors he serves.

As I have said in the past only a court can decide about the legality of any company, so time will tell.

Again, we made it very clear, DNA was not off the radar, and the concern of paying distributors for data collecting. As long as DNA is paying ANY MONEY via an MLM Compensation Structure is a huge RED FLAG!

Now, let’s look at specifically what I, Troy Dooly knows without a shadow of a doubt.

1. According to George Madiou Phil Piccolo is a consultant for Data Network Affiliates.

2. According to George Madiou Phil Piccolo has NOTHING to do with any of the financial accounts of Data Network Affiliates

3. We have not found any publicly filed documents showing that Phil Piccolo is an owner of officer of Data Network Affiliates.

And lastly, for those of you who truly read the blog and don’t just watch the video. I have truly learned something over the last six weeks of frequently talking with Phil Piccolo… I truly like the guy, and we have had some great conversations which had nothing to do about business.

Does this mean we are backing off of our investigation and fact finding mission on Piccolo before the August 27th radio show on Aces Radio Live? No! It means more than ever, I want to get to the bottom of the Phil Piccolo issue.

If Piccolo is a true scammer, who has been running a multi-decade organized series of MLM ponzi schemes, then we will find out, and we’ll expose him, even it I do like the guy.

On the other hand, if we can’t find any valid documented public record that he has been more than the most unlucky MLM UnProfessional person in history, then I’ll continue to nurture this new friendship.

This whole situation reminds me of a comment MLM Kevin Thompson said to me once “Troy you can’t judge the attorney by their clients. Not all clients follow their attorneys advice.”

Well, I have given advice to George Madiou and Phil Piccolo aka Warren Anthony, and if they do not take it, then DNA may not last long term. However, if they continue to add other products and services and get out of the data collecting business, then who knows.

It’s sad when you think about it. Some folks want to find fault in Piccolo and Madiou, even me for that matter. But they do not have an problems with an organized group of people raiding and raping several MLM field organizations.

Data Network Affiliate Moved Out Of Scam Alerts By MLM Help Desk

Our goal at MLM Help Desk is not to determine if a company is a MLM scam or pyramid scheme. Our focus is to ask some hard questions, reveal areas of concern and raise the red flags which could cause the Federal trade Commission or individual State Attorney generals to question the legitimacy of the company as a viable MLM business opportunity.

From the very beginning we have voiced huge concerns over the use of an MLM compensation structure by DNA or any other company, when paying their “distributors” to collect license plates; this concern has not changed, however Data Network Affiliates has made some major strives to show the direct selling industry their goal is to create a viable long term MLM business opportunity for the average distributor, as well as the full-time MLM professional.

As a matter of fact Bob Sullivan of The Red Tape Chronicles over at MSNBC has taken an interest in Data Network Affiliates and just wrote an interesting article on both DNA and Narc. What I found interesting is the fact, Sullivan found the need to explain the difference between a MLM scam and a legitimate MLM business opportunity.

Listen to the official announcement of DNA Cellular On April 10, 2010

DNA Connects

With the launch of DNA Connects in 18 days, Data Network Affiliates will be providing a viable marketing channel between their distributors and the end buyer, which is exactly what the FTC and AGs will be looking for, if they decide to review DNA for violations.

This week also brought the launch of the DNA Cellular division. Data Network Affiliates teamed up with Chris Greco who is a well known figure in the wireless community. Chris came on to the MLM wireless scene a few months ago, and since then has played a part in helping more than one company get their wireless companies launched.

Greco and his team have quickly proven they are the people to see if your an MLM company wanting to solidify or launch a wireless company or division.

And with DNA Cellular announcing an UNLIMITED Talk & Text $10.00 monthly service, the MLM wireless wars just heated up to an all new level.

So, although there are still many unanswered questions as to the future of Data Network Affiliates, it is clear they are moving towards launching a viable MLM business opportunity for their current and future distributors.

We will continue to monitor Data Network Affiliates, and if we see new concerns we will be raising questions with the founders and leadership of DNA for answers.

Like all MLM companies, it takes strong leadership in the corporate office and even stronger leadership in the field, and this is yet to be seen.

We will continue to monitor the DNA situation, staying in contact with the corporate leadership, and listening to the folks in this community who continue to post comments and sending emails keeping us up to date on what the field is seeing from the inside.

George Madiou is Officially the New CEO of DNA aka Data Network Affiliates

George Madiou – founder of the Network Marketing Magazine, talked to MLM Help Desk for close to two hours today, and officially verified he is the new CEO of DNA aka Data Network Affiliates.

George and I go way back, and as I stated over the weekend, I was not going to voice my opinion until I had talked to him personally. Well here is the conversation in a nutshell.

DNA aka Data Network Affiliates and Narc That Car May Be Running Interstate Crime Campaigns

This week one of our Investigative Advocates brought to our attention some very important information which could cause some MLM License Plate collecting companies some major issues.

This new concern, which surfaced this week, comes from the fact License Plates and the information contained on them is not the property of the individuals driving the car. After doing a little research in my own home state of Florida, I am quickly learning that the license numbers, actually the license plates themselves belong to Florida.

So, what happens when this data is collected by employees, or independent contractors working for a private company, with the specific purpose of reselling this information for a profit?

In some, if not all States it is a crime, and seen as selling stolen property of the State who issued the License Plates. This could place both Data Network Affiliates and Narc That Car in a position of defending the actions of their distributors and themselves from running an Interstate Crime Syndicate of independent reps who are selling information which is to be used only by the State and law enforcement.

I strongly suggest distributors of DNA aka Data Network Affiliates and Narc That Car check on the laws in their specific state before beginning to collect license plate numbers.

Now, I have heard Data Network Affiliates is not looking at the License Plate Data, as their main core business in the near future, and will soon be revealing something that will revolutionize the MLM world.

If any DNA reps can give me some details, I would love to hear what this is. It DNA is leaving behind the License Plate gig, and moving to provide services or products to legitimate end users through their field force, then I want to know.

Although, I have asked some hard questions over the last week, I will also be the first one to yell from the tree tops, if Data brings out a viable business for distributors, which will not bring the regulators calling.

Phil Piccolo Calls and Threatens to File Lawsuit Against MLM Help Desk and Troy Dooly

Phil Piccolo calls and threatens to file a lawsuit against MLM Help Desk and Troy Dooly. Yep, you heard me right, and it all steams from my last post titled – Data Network Affiliates and Narc technologies May be Lying to Their Distributors.

See in the video, I stated “it’s been purported Phil Piccolo has signed an agreement with FTC – NOT to be be associated in MLM ever again.” Well, that seems to have been the catalyst for Phil Piccolo.

So Piccolo called his MLM Attorney Mr. D. Jack Smith and Jack told him “Make an example of Troy Dooly.” Which I truly find funny, because lord knows Rod Cook the MLM Watchdog has said far worse things than I have ever said or written about Phil Piccolo. But hey, I’m the new kid on the block.

Anyway, after over two hours on the phone with Phil Piccolo, which by the way, he was an enjoyable guy to talk with, I did come to the following conclusions…

1. Phil Piccolo, if he is not MLMs most notorious scammer, (which by the time I am done, I will know one way or another) has to be one of the most unlucky MLM professional in history.

2. Phil Piccolo has NEVER (according to Phil himself) signed or agreed to any form of agreement with the FTC to never be affiliated with MLM, Network Marketing, Direct Selling or any other term we want to give our great profession.

Then on August 27th, 2010 on Aces Radio Live Jim Gillhouse and myself will interview Phil Piccolo live in over 100 counties around the globe and we will be using these comments to formulate the questions we ask Phil.

Well, let’s get to the true and stop just relying on the rumors flying around.

By the way, if you are wondering if Phil Piccolo is part of Data Network Affiliates or Automatic Geek, then you will want to watch the blog for some upcoming posts.

Data Network Affiliates & Narc Technologies May Be Lying To Their Distributors

Data Network Affiliates and Narc Technologies may be lying to their distributors about who needs and is willing to pay for their data.

yesterday I had a couple of fantastic phone calls with the former Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Data network Affiliates, Dean Blechman. He was very open and upfront on several fronts, and in a couple of weeks, I’ll do a couple of articles on Dean Blechman, the past present and future… Stay tuned.

But… After talking with Dean, I started doing some new research and realized that although Rod Cook the MLM Watchdog broke the story of Phil Piccollo being the mastermind behind DNA and Business From Home put up a review of Phil which set off a wave of controversy. And let’s not forget Patrick Pretty was really the first big blog to break the stories on both Narc Technologies (Narc That Car) and DNA (Data network Affiliates.)

But a couple of things have not been touched on.

1. Why is Arthur Kurek and Donald Kessler still at DNA? Both of these guys use to have clean reputations. However, based on the validated information which has come forward, these two guys stand to lose more than anyone else.

If it’s true that Phil Piccolo is the mastermind behind DNA (Rumors are starting to flow that Phil may also be focusing on Automatic Geek another MLM startup) and the FTC comes down on this company. Then these both Arthur Kurek and Donald Kessler could be fined huge amounts for allowing Piccolo to run the company behind the scenes. But even worse Arthur Kurek who has worked in the highly regulated Insurance Industry for over 40 years could see his career go down the drain, or at the very least be faced with early retirement.

2. Both DNA and Narc continue to promote their propaganda that law enforcement wants and needs access to the databases. Yet, from the news reports this is the farthest thing from the truth.

Check out these news reports…

Arizona the Surveillance State

Florida Traffic Camera Bill

Here is an interesting article from Santa Clara University

Even Austrian citizens are concerned over the privacy issues raised from Law Enforcement using Cameras.

And let’s be fair, there are those who are not worried about the privacy issue.

At America.Gov the following has been posted: Are Traffic Cameras Unfair and an Invasion of Privacy?

By now you may be asking “What does any of this have to do with Narc That Car and Data network Affiliates? Simple, it brought the following questions to my mind.

1. If private citizens are concerned about the videos and pictures taken from public highways, how are they going to feel when they learn their neighbors and friends are also placing their personal information into a database to be used by people who are not in law enforcement?

2. Since I am not the only person concerned about privacy issues, I wonder if maybe the distributors of Narc and DNA should give a second thought to the concern, and not just rollover and accept the Indoctrination propaganda being fed to them from the company and top leaders who both have huge monetary reasons to keep them from asking hard questions?

3. Is this the reverse of the traditional training message we have heard for years… Instead of go to your friends and family and get them to join, now the new message seems to be go get even with your friends and family and get us their license plate number… It will not hurt anyone… But who truly knows?

Time will tell…
