Breaking MonaVie News: Dallin Laren Back As Chief Visionary Hires New CEO To Run Daily Operations

MonaVie Corporate

With rumors flying over the last few weeks as to what has been going on in the C-Suites over at MonaVie, I reached out to Dallin Larsen for some insight. Dallin got right back with me and said… Nothing! He is always fast to respond, but always cautious in saying too much until he has talked with his leaders. Well drop down below and see the news Dallin shared. This may be some of the best news coming out of MonaVie in the last couple of years!

Hi Troy,

Now that our event has been completed this past weekend in Florida, I will let you know that after months of interviewing various candidates, we’ve hired a new CEO/President for MonaVie. He was well received by our leadership this past weekend.

My new role will be Founder and Chairman.  This is designed to free me up from the day-to-day of the business and allow me to build relationships globally, attend the major functions, host top leaders and continue casting the vision and mission of MonaVie globally. I have a good feeling about this and have peace inside that this is the right move at the right time for MonaVie.

For the record, this was MY decision to pass the baton.  I wasn’t forced to do so nor coerced to do so.  I’ve always attempted to make my decisions based on what’s in the best interest of our distributors and I believe this decision is just that.

I’m doing a North America conference call tonight to recap what took place in Orlando with the introduction of our new scanner technology, the new tools, and also introduce Mauricio to the larger MonaVie audience.

Hope all is well with you Troy and that you have an amazing 2013.

Thank you for all you do,

Without a doubt, MonaVie is a company that has weathered many storms, rumors, and even the loss of some great leaders who felt it was time to move on. But through it all, Dallin, Randy and Henry have stayed true to their original goals. I will continue to watch to see what 2013 brings for the MonaVie crew.

Dallin Larsen Is Back At The Helm Of MonaVie With A Renewed Passion

Dallin Larsen, has been one of those leaders who throughout the last few years has played a role in my life as a distant mentor. He has also been one of those CEO and Founders who when I had questions or concerns has always taken time to listen and respond. I think his words below are something all distributors in network marketing can gain some wisdom.

When I was a young boy, probably 13 or 14, I became convinced, through a friend, that if I invested $100 in some US Bonds as part of a “get rich quick” program spreading through my hometown, that I would make $10,000 over the next 30 days by placing my name on the bottom of a list. Daily, as others got involved, my name would be moved up the list and, within four short weeks, I would begin receiving checks in the Larsen family mailbox in Rexburg, Idaho. I was so excited!

So, I took the $100 out of my savings account, which represented most of my savings from mowing lawns and delivering papers, and jumped in. I was going to get rich! I still remember to this day my dad saying something along the lines of, “Oh boy, looks like you’re going to have to learn at a young age what a Ponzi scheme is. My advice is not to do it, but sometimes you have to learn life lessons from your mistakes.” Thirty days later, I was dejected when, with each passing day, I would go out to my mailbox and no checks were there. I felt foolish, stupid, and upset that I didn’t heed my father’s advice. And I was equally upset at the person I trusted who led me down the wrong path. As part of this teaching moment, my mom said, “Dallin, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.” I decided then and there that I’d never again fall for another get rich quick scheme. $100 was a lot of money back then to a young teenager.

Recently, another exciting venture may have crossed your path, promising riches within weeks. Some may have been lured into what will undoubtedly not be the last “get rich quick” scheme coming to your city or state. People are desperate and need money; I understand that completely. However, my strongest advice is to stay away from such promises; for, in the end, they undoubtedly all get shut down, leaving scores of families with broken dreams, shattered relationships, and diminished savings or credit card debt. We each have a certain amount of credibility. When we steer people into questionable opportunities, however well intended, that credibility is diminished, rarely to be fully regained. Be wise, my friends. Your credibility depends on it. With that being said, I’ve certainly made my share of mistakes in life and am grateful for those who gave me the room to grow from those mistakes. I encourage all of us to offer that same room to others.

In contrast, MonaVie is a solid company with a legitimate product that is consumed and reordered. We have an A+ rating (the highest rating possible) with the Better Business Bureau. For almost eight years now, we’ve paid commissions each and every week without fail. I’ve never said that MonaVie offers a get rich quick program. I’ve stated over and over again that it takes time, effort, commitment, and hard work to become financially independent in MonaVie, but it’s proven to be possible for those willing to create the character traits and skills necessary for extraordinary results. MonaVie is a company you can plant yourself in and grow. I left the office one day this past week, called my wife Karree, and told her I felt better than I’ve felt in years about the next chapter for MonaVie. My friends, our future is bright.

I want you to know how proud I am of those who have been in the trenches; those who were on the recent Cruise for Gold trip, being rewarded for their efforts in advancing to the rank of Gold Executive. I’m proud of the moms and dads who are putting on Home Business Reviews. I’m proud of the folks who shared their life changing product stories with me recently in Cleveland, St. Augustine, and New Jersey, as well as on Cruise for Gold. I’m proud of those who are trying to live their lives with God, Family, and MonaVie, in that order. Karree and I are looking forward to being with you in Anaheim! Once you are introduced to VIEW and how we will be proving the value of the MonaVie products, along with our other initiatives, I believe you’ll agree with me when I say that our future is bright!

Keep growing,

Seth Godin Shares Explains What Dallin Larsen Founder Of MonaVie and Paul Burks Founder Of Zeek Rewards Have In Common

Truth & Justice

A week or so ago, Randy Schroeder, President of MonaVie North America came out hard against Paul Burks, founder fo Rex Venture Group, the parent company of Zeek Rewards. After listening to Randy’s opinions (by the way Randy and I will be talking live next week), I have taken some time to really give some thought to Randy’s words, and started looking for what Dallin Larsen and Paul Burks have in common and their underlying passions for starting MonaVie and Zeek Rewards.

I asked myself one simple question… Could these two massively successful leaders share something in common? Well I found it, as I watched Seth Godin’s TED Talk about Tribes and starting movements. One person willing to think outside the box, can start a movement.

Dallin Larsen made a stand several years ago on the side of the distributor making it clear Distributors should be free agents and be able to come and go in companies as they please.

Paul BUrks made a stand several years ago on the side of the distributor, stating ALL distributors should have the same opportunity to earn income, and change their lives, even if they were not the best recruiters or sales pros.

Maybe instead of taking potshots at each other, we should collaborate together, learn more about each other and our goals as leaders, before we just starting firing. If we do we may just find we are closer in our overall objectives, than we realize and are fighting for the same common cause… Truth and Justice for all!

MonaVie Founder Dallin Larsen Shares About The Acai Berry Juice Company After Anonymous Rumors Start Flying

What started last month when MLM Watchdog Rod Cook shot an analytical review of MonaVie has now moved into a very complex series of events which has, in some peoples mind pitted MonaVie against the First Amendment right of Ted Nuyten, founder of Ted wrote an article last week titled – “MonaVie Revenue 2010 Under Heavy Pressure?”

The basis of this article was founded on anonymous information supplied to the MLM Bashing site of Terry Coenen “The Fraud Files” in an article she wrote back in May titled – “An anonymous source reveals numbers for MonaVie.

After writing the above article, Ted received a Cease and Desist notice from MonaVie’s attorney’s demanding he removed the unbiased information.

Ted and I are good friends and I stand by his right to publish the article. He did a great job of adding disclaimers to the article, letting folks know he did not know if the information was correct or not. However, what he failed to do, is link to the original article on Coenen’s site. This is what caused MonaVie to send their legal team his direction.

Ted followed up with a new post hitting MonaVie for attacking “Freedom of Speech” and linking to the original article in his follow-up article titled – “Monavie letter to Ted Nuyten regarding the Reported Revenue for 2010”

And, you guessed it, Terry Coenen wrote her own follow-up article slamming MonaVie in an article titled – “MonaVie lawyers are again threatening critics

Let me state, Terry Coenen is a forensic accountant and fraud examiner, who investigates white collar crimes. I have no doubt she is good at her career. As a matter of fact she has written a couple of books on the subject. However, we see Direct Selling, specifically legitimate MLM companies from complete diabolically opposed views.

I believe had Ted linked to the Coenen’s original article as the source of his information, he would never have received a letter from MonaVie. I also believe had he not used information from a known MLM bashing website, this issue would not have grown as large as it has.

All of us who are advocates and ambassadors of Direct Selling, MLM and Network Marketing should be very careful with our use of Free Speech! Although it is out Right, it also comes with huge responsibilities! Just because we have the right to write something, doesn’t mean it is right to write it!

Our #1 responsibility should not to focus on “Our Rights” as much as it should be to focus on the lives of the distributors we effect, by posting partial truths. Millions of distributors are looking at MLM as a way to earn a solid part-time income, or replace their current full-time income.

After all this happened I reached out to Dallin Larsen and asked him a couple of questions.

“Dallin based on current rumors surrounding the fact MonaVie’s attitude and even culture seems to have changed lately, can you shed some light on what is going on?”

Dallin: “Troy, I’m unaware of any company in the history of Direct Selling that’s achieved the success that MonaVie has achieved in its first 5 years. I believe it’s unprecedented. However, I also understand the need to constantly reinvent yourself as a company because we live in an ever changing world.

Just as an infant grows up to a teenager and then an adult, companies, including MonaVie, must do the same. What got us to our first couple billion in sales won’t get us to where we need to go so we have various initiatives underway of which I’m very excited, including product expansion and other initiatives.

MonaVie will not always be first to market relative to product expansion but we will always be “Best in Class.” Products that are on the leading edge of science. Our commitment to science is evidenced by the millions we’ve spent to date, validating the efficacy of our products.”

Troy: “Dallin, I have one other question I would like to ask, for the article I am writing. Based on the current anonymous article and recent analysis on MonaVie’s decline in revenues, and possible death dive, can you share anything on the financial side of the MonaVie house?”

Dallin: “Troy, with our webcast in October, we will unveil the next phase for MonaVie. Let me simply say that in the words of Mark Twain,” the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.

We are a private company and don’t release our numbers bus let me simply say that I just returned from 10 countries over the last 90 days and we are growing. Up in some markets and down in others. There’s a cycle in business and there’s a cycle in this industry.

We’ve had a very difficult economy to deal with but there are 6 plus billion people in the world and many of them are looking for a way to earn an extra source of income and MonaVie intends on continuing to offer a solid opportunity for years to come.

Since MonaVie began operations in January of 2005, we’ve paid commissions accurately and on time, each and every week, and we will continue doing so.”

I went and took a look at the numbers based on some of the same websites others have used to promote the decline in MonaVie’s traffic and possible revenues. I also want to make it clear that Direct Selling News, the industry leader in up to date information on direct selling companies just listed MonaVie as #17 out of the top 100 global Direct Selling Companies. with $785 million in wholesale revenues as of 2009.

The images below from as of August 18th, 2010, shows that MonaVie has had a decline in traffic hitting their main corporate site. However, in reviewing the images below it is easy to see the only company gaining huge amounts of Traffic is Amway. Which in March of 2010 launched one of the largest ad campaigns i the history of Direct Selling. Investing millions monthly to re-brand itself to Amway Global. This campaign is worldwide.

MonaVie’s decline brought it in line with other companies inside the functional health beverage category. Companies like Vemma, Noni and XanGo. This is an indication, that the company has plateaued with its current marketing efforts, and is ready to move into it’s second stage of growth. (As Dallin mentioned above.)

MonaVie Chairman Dallin Larsen Named Ernst Young Entrepreneur Of The Year

MonaVie’s Chairman & CEO is one of the most colorful and according to some critics one of the most controversial CEO’s in current MLM / Network Marketing History. But, no matter what side of the debate you fall, this last week was a great week for all of us in Network Marketing.

Dallin Larsen
