The MLM Wireless Wars, may be heating up! I received an email (see below) which purportedly came from ZER01 Communications Chief Operations Officer Lance Dascotte, demanding I take down MLM Help Desk.
Now, I have to tell you, in reviewing the email headers, I can tell the email came from Gmail.com, and not ZER01Mobile.com, but it was sent on behalf of Lance Dascotte @ ZER01Mobile.com.
So in all fairness, since I have not received a follow-up email to my response, I decide to publish the email, so if by some chance it was the Real COO of ZER01 Communications Lance Dascotte, we can keep the story straight.
And if it was not Lance, then he can comment on this post letting the public know it was not him.
If you take the time to read the email, you will see that it is truly a very unprofessionally written.
In the subject line, the sender doesn’t say what “site” they are referring, and when you read the body of the email, they once again do not mention specifically MLMHelpDesk.com, they just say “that” site.

Thank you for contacting me personal on this issue.
However, I will not be taking down my site over using your logo or any other company logo. What I always do, is listen to the concern of the companies and/or leaders I write about, and correct any incorrect information that I might happen to post. Although this doesn’t happen often, I do make mistakes periodically, and as we both know young companies are always growing and some information come become out dated.
So feel free to share what I might have incorrect or we can talk on the phone if you feel it would be easier to explain those changes or my miss-information.
Now, as for your original concern on the logo. I did have our team search the USPTO and the US Copyright database and they did not find any documents under ZER01, Zer01 Mobile, Zer01 Wireless, Unified Technologies Group, or UTGI.
So, if you could provide me with the document number for verification, I’ll gladly remove the logo. However, until then since we are using the Logo within an article that is specifically related to ZER01 Mobile and links to several public articles and to the ZER01 website, I will not be having the team remove it at this time.
Again, let me say, I will gladly correct anything we have written or I have said publically, if you will provide me with facts that are contrary to the public information we have received to date.

Why all the fuss?
That is old news.
Zero1 has always stated its intention to develop multiple channels of distribution through the licensing of operators who could then take it into the retail market…big boxes or whatever. Buzzirk / GV has the license or rights to distribute through Multi-Level Marketing.
I know the FDI folks like to make a big deal of this, but it’s not a big deal and certainly not news.

You ask a great question. In listening to several Global Verge/Buzzirk Calls, it was never explained that Buzzirk reps would have the “exclusive only” in MLM. So several reps have contacted me asking what’s up? After reading through what Zer01 has published, it makes good since for them to not place all their eggs in one basket.
However, from a distributor standpoint, tell me what advantage do Global Verge reps have for hanging their long term financial future in Buzzirk (Zer01) when they will be at the disadvantage, not the advantage.
Now, if the service plans and the cost of the phones will ALWAYS be the same between each of the marketing channels, then it may not be a big deal. But if the Big Box Stores or other marketing channels are going to get better pricing and be allowed to retail the service at different pricing or under their own brand for less money, then it will be a huge disadvantage for Global Verge Reps.
However, if Zer01, and Global Verge have worked a deal where Global Verge will be given the right to market all new products and services before any other marketing channel, then it could be a good deal.
But, historically, when Tele-Comm companies add new marketing channels, other than a network marketing arm, before to long the network marketing arm is disbanded and reps are left with their financial vehicle dead in the road.
So, it may be nothing, or it could be a caution sign.
As for news or a big deal, I guess it depends on if you know about it or not. Since GV reps are the ones who asked me about it, I would say for them it is a big deal.
I would be interested in learning why you do not feel it is a big deal. Maybe I am seeing this through the wrong perspective.

if it takes as long to get a repair, refund, or replacement as it did to get the original…that should be good right…they’ve been so productive thus far…now you have to go back to your carrier you dropped and start all over again…
this is a no-brainer it doesn’t need troy genius here to investigate for the rest of you….he isn’t that intelligent or he wouldn’t need to spend this much time to realize this ain’t gonna happen….

Well, you are thought provoking. And… Hey I never claimed to be intelligent, just smart enough to know where to go to get the answers.
Makes you wonder though what I haven’t shared… Sometimes folks forget my former career, and where I grew up… Makes one wonder just who my close friends might be and why I have taken a personal interest in this situation
