This week has brought some very powerful news to several Direct Selling sectors and I am excited for the distributors in most of these companies as we move out of Summer and into three of the best months to grow any Network Marketing business.
Vemma - Has just announced they have officially opened in Canada. Founder and CEO, BK Boreyko put it this way “Doing business is a natural progression of enhancing health and wellness in a country which already gets it. Our goal is to offer the Vemma opportunity of health and financial wellness to as many people worldwide as we can.”
With Vemma’s new state-of-the-art shipping center located in Oakville Ontario the new Canadian Brand Partners should be off and running.
ACN is holding their international training even this weekend, and over 4000 ACN distributors will be on hand as the company unveils some fantastic news. We have learned ACN has become their own MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). This will allow them to brand everything ACN Wireless, manufactor their own phones, and control their own billing and customer service. This is a plus for the distributors.
The second items of interest is the fact, ACN is just about ready to enter into the Direct Selling Energy sector. They have teamed up with one of the world’s largest and most respected energy companies for this new venture. If this goes off as planned, then ACN could very quickly become a major player in this sector.
Revolucion WorldWide – Late last night, I received word Derek Broes was resigning from the very company he helped to co-found, and served as CEO. Although this did not surprise me, I did not expect it to happen so soon. Broes and I had talked a couple of weeks ago about his true passion of supporting the troops, politics and helping to launch technology and entertaining companies. I had mentioned I did not know how he kept it all together, since running a Direct Selling company is a full time job, in and of itself.
I do have concerns about the future of Revolucion and the distributors who have been building the company. I know there is a possible merger on the table with a public MLM company. I hope Peter Lupus will give this merger a solid review. It could be the best thing to happen to the equity partners and the distributors.
Numis Network – This week things went a little nuts on the net and rumors started flying about Cedrick Harris leaving Numis Network. Well this is not happening.
As a matter of fact Numis Network has just launched a new promotion which has resulted in three record breaking days of growth.
Next week, I will share more info on this new promotion and some other great things happening at Numis Network.

Great message about passion and truly Passion is what its all about . As your shirt says, pursue your thirst, indeed that can have the same meaning as pursue your passion. What I have always appreciated about you is your passion for the success of the net work marketer. In the end Integrity wins and the truth will always prevail.
There is no escape from Accountability as truth will always be the victor,all the way to the pearly gates which surely is not wide but we will all find is very narrow.
Now,how do I get one of those shirts, perhaps BK will give one to me at the Vemma Convention coming up. I was very excited to find out the Doctor that will be the keynote speaker.
Oh and if I do get one of those shirts, I know I will have to bulk up to look as good as you. I wished it was as easy as just shaving my head.

Troy, how long are you going to keep defending Derek Broes? He made all sorts of promises to the eFusjon distributors then bailed and left them hanging and now he has done the same thing with Revolucion. The MLM industry will be a lot better off without him…

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Although, I am not sure why you feel I am defending Broes of anything. But, since you have brought up some great statements, let me ask you a few questions.
1. Have you read the lawsuits eFusjon /vs Broes or Broes .vs eFusjon? This might shed some light on what you state are unfulfilled promises by Broes.
2. What specific promises are you referring at eFusjon? Broes was never an owner, and was not there at the beginning or the end of eFusjon. And I find it hard to believe one man can bring any company down.
3. Did you ever ask why eFusjon requested the settlement between them and Broes be sealed, or why they did not sue him when he launched a competing company in their niche?
4. Did you know what went on behind the scenes at eFusjon or what may be going on behind the scenes at Revolucion? I know about eFusjon, but I am still digging to learn more about Revolucion.
I am a firm believer that when a person’s strength is not suited for direct sales, at a corporate level or in the field, they need to be honest with themselves and get out. I personally believe it would be far worse for Broes to stay in direct selling, when it is very clear his heart is not in this profession.
So, you can call it defending Broes all you want. If you took the time to gather the facts, you would find it is more like defending the distributors from watching another company fail, and their dreams dashed once again.
Besides, Peter and Linda should be able to find a solid CEO who is well respected and who has MLM experience to lead the company, if they decide not to merge with someone else.

Troy, Great post first of all. I think David DuHamel has got it wrong also, I dont see how you are promoting anything about Derek Broes. I dont know the guy and really dont care. Thanks for all the great information about what is going on in this industry that we both love, and keep up the good work.

What I do not like at all is this badly managed resignation. If a CEO quits, the least you can do as a company is to send out an decent press release why this happens. No press release so far, so a lot of rumors. No respect towards distributors….
You can raise the question: Are Revolution WW distributors left in the dust?
Ted, I have to agree with you on this one. Seems the top distributors and the home office are being very silent. I figure either the reps are also being kept in the dark, which means a lack of communication. Or there is more here than Revolucion is letting on.
We will keep digging.
