Mannatech reported for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011, net sales of $50.5 million, and a net loss of $3.7 million. Quarterly sales declined $4.4 million or 8 percent, compared to the third quarter of 2010. The net loss increased by $2.4 million for the quarter largely due to a tax provision of $500,000 compared to a benefit of $2 million recorded in the third quarter of 2010. (Full Press Release)
Reliv reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2011. Net sales for the third quarter of 2011 were $17.3 million, a 7.3 percent decrease from the third quarter last year. Net U.S. sales totaled $14.1 million, down from third-quarter 2010 net sales of $16 million. Net sales outside of the U.S. rose 17.7 percent in the third quarter of 2011 compared to the prior-year quarter, led by the European market where net sales more than doubled. (Full Press Release)
