Lyoness Worldwide Clarification: The Lyoness America Compensation Structure That Is The Focus On Concern

On July 22nd, 2013 I wrote an article on Lyoness America titled “Lyoness America Violating Pyramid, Ponzi, Business Opportunity & Security Regulations?“. In this MLM Perspective I also linked to several articles written on Lyoness Worldwide and cause some confusion as to what my main concern was focused on. This video is to clarify that the focus here at MLM Help Desk in regards to the Lyoness culture is focused at this tine ONLY on Lyoness America.

I also want to thank everyone who has come into the MLM Help Desk community and added value to this conversation. It is through open and straightforward conversation that people are able to find enough information from all sides of the topic, for them to make an informed decision.

And if you are reading this post on Lyoness America, then I challenge you to take your time and gather all the info you can. Lyoness America may very well operating well within the rules and regulations of North America. But if there is anywhere in their compensation structure that causes their business model to tip into what looks like a  ponzi or pyramid to regulators, then it could trigger an investigation, and could slow the success of those independent professionals marketing the underlying business of money back discount shopping.

I know firsthand the struggle of building a business when it is under investigation. I was an independent professional with A.L. Williams/Primerica during the early years, and each appointment started off with critical reports my prospects had been given, read or saw on TV.

  1. Without a doubt Lyoness Global has specific issues in specific countries. Although we are watching this, it is not our focus.

Each country has different laws. What is legal in the USA, may not be legal in Australia or any other country.

What is legal in Hong Kong will not be legal in the USA.

It is good to review all info, but make sure you fully understand what is happening and the underlying facts.

We are watching a potential case in Australia right now.

  2. I am doing my due diligence on this company and I found this on mlmwatchdog.com

LYONESS INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED DUE TO COMPLIANCE REPORTS!

NOW WE HAVE REPORTS THAT THEY ARE IN COMPLIANCE IN THE U.S.
I have some really good WatchDog “Deputies” Who zeroed in on very
‘flashy’ newly launching (in the U.S.) as an MLM. They report that they
are now in compliance with all U.S. laws There have been no authorities
charging illegal activity in checking Europe and Austria where they
    have been operating.

  3. Hmmm… Well, I have never seen an investigative body NOT do a thorough job when they find a reason to investigate a company.

Lyoness like so many other international companies launched in North America using the same business model they have used in most of the other countries they have launched.

However, we are a different animal in North America, and based on their attorneys they have done everything asked of them to correct any issues now compliant.

Now, that doesn’t mean a regulatory agency might not see an issue and investigate. But if the company does answer the questions, or makes a change when required then, more than likely they would get a fine and move on.

Several companies over the years which have gone through regulatory investigations and in some cases were found to have violated some regulation. Most are fined and made to correct the issues.

Only time will tell with Lyoness if regulators see an issue. I have only found one so far, but I have more reach to complete. 🙂

  4. That would not be a very thorough investigation then, if the authorities would fail to find something wrong with Lyoness.

Many people were fooled by Zeek Rewards, do not let that happen again!

  5. To my knowledge there have been NO public investigations. Now if an agency is investigating, the public might never know if they do not find any issues.

  6. Hello, I have followed your articles since the beginning. Has there actually been any type of investigation into Lyoness that you know of by any US agencies??
