    One comment on this, Royal Tongan Limu, look it up and check out Gary.

      @Lane,

      That is old news. Might as well look up Dallin Larsen while they are at it.

      • Lane

        They should if considering MonaVie for sure. Good comment steering them to do due diligence Troy. Being careful can help you be strong. Remember those who do bother to learn history are doomed to repeat it.

    Not sure how they are claiming month after month increase in volume because people are dropping out faster than they are signing up, leadership is getting desperate. Do you get paid to write good reviews for Limu? Something just isn’t right here. Something very strange is happening in the limu company. Website’s usernames are being changed and passwords are being changed without “users” approval. Limu treats reps as guilty until proven innocent other than the other way around.
    It appears that Gary has given all his power to 30 year old Jessica Ellerman.

      @Kim,

      Although, all companies has attrition, Limu’s net numbers, like most companies are to the positive. Sadly, it is these types of comments, and negative backbiting that allows critics of network marketing to have a hey day.

      Limu is a client, and have been for years. As a matter of fact my clients include many of the top network marketing companies in business today.

      But, since this is an old post, the current post might be better to review.

      Kim, let me ask you… why the negative attitude? We are a tight community and the majority of us are all looking for the same end game… Independence.

      Seeing your few comments and how they all are negative, is disturbing. Especially since you are not on the inside of the company, and seem to be making some pretty inflammatory comments.

      Blake Mallen and I had this very conversation this week. So much backbiting and negative crap, when founders and distributors should be working to raise the bar, not lower it.

      Now as for Gary giving up his power… I can see you do not know Gary! :)

    Well I was a HUGE supporter of The Limu Company, thought the Original was a blessing, believed in the dream that Limu was suggesting.

    The negative attitude is just about questioning what is real and what is not with Limu. I was one of the many that posted your link believing it was a 3rd party review. My 2 comments I have made on your site are negative because of the way the company went about handling things, if they had a problem with me that’s one thing but they shut down my site and other’s sites falsely accusing them of things they did not do. Taking money and opportunity from people without giving them a real chance to defend themselves and protect their business.

    It is my concern for the industry that I approached you and asked questions. It was in our living room that they announced the “relaunch” of Limu and did a massive cross recruiting action at that time. We met for what we thought was a Visalus training only to have Jessica Ellerman inform us that “we” were going to Limu. Of course we were all allowed to make our own choices but considering they are claiming I cross recruited, I find this a bit hypocritical.

    I know it is a tight community, I have seen “inside” the Limu company and now see what they are capable of, both good and bad. My concern is for the mass amount of people still being brought in only to be left with a bad taste in their mouth about “one of those things”. Limu was supposed to change the way people look at network marketing and now it has become another one of those “things”.

    I think this industry is amazing, would love to see people truly helping people become independent.

    As for Gary, I do not know him, you are correct. I just know what I have experienced. I am disappointed that I did not realize sooner that Limu was one of your clients. That is my fault.

    I believe that the network marketing industry has the potential to offer the average people financial independence and a freedom the brick and mortar businesses do not. As far as backbiting and negative crap, I was looking for the truth, if the truth is negative crap then we have bigger problems here.

      @Kim,

      First of all my reviews are 3rd party reviews. My consulting has nothing to do with my original reviews of Limu, or the continued reporting of the monthly numbers and those who are growing a team. Gary and & are friends and I care about his family very much. However, that doesn’t mean we do not cover the issues when there is proven documentation that any company is moving in the wrong direction.

      The negative attitude is not from questioning, it is from using a public platform to do it in. When a professional has a question on the facts and figures they usually come to me or others privately asking us to dig into the evidence they have to provide.

      When, what seems like a personal attack on another person, or just defamatory remarks are made, then it tends to be from a negative attitude more than a true advocate or ambassador trying to get to the bottom of an issue. Lord knows I have done this more than once myself. Not always proud of the fact, but a fact it is.

      When a distributor from different companies have issues and want to get them cleaned up. Many will come to me as a mediator to see if I can help due to the relationships I do have with some founders and CEOs. But publicly stating derogatory comments, is more than likely covered in the P&Ps and outlive the agreement for six to 12 months, and doesn’t help your cause.

      As we all know, there is no perfect company, just like there are no perfect distributors. But, if we can work together, then we can make a better community.

      I do agree it is wrong for any company to just take the opportunity away, when we as distributors have worked hard to built it up. Which is again, why I advocate on both sides to help keep the communication open and moving to a win, win solution.

      Now as for one of my clients. Unlike distributor’s agreements, my agreement with my clients are very clear, and I am allowed to talk publicly about any situation that could harm distributors, and it is not seen as disparaging conversation. So I do not have any issues covering the facts or your situation or anyone else’s.

      Many companies right now are going through a purging of distributors who have been “cross recruiting”. I think part of the issue is a misunderstanding of what “cross recruiting” means, and the fact both sides may be using two different definitions.

      Truth, is never negative or backbiting. It can harsh and critical, but the issue is finding the truth, and making sure we can all teach and learn from the issue, not from attacking companies and people.

      I am here to help, and if you feel like you can trust me to report and work to get to the bottom of things, I would gladly help. I would suggest we take this offline until all the facts can be covered.

      Kim, thank you for taking time to share. I feel this is one of the ways we can all grow and learn. Lord knows I have a ways to go personally.

        Thank you for for your input and I do apologize for coming across negatively. I do feel as network marketers it is important for all of us to work together to protect the image of the industry.

        • Troy Dooly

          @Kim,

          I can fully understand your anger and frustration, let alone the passion and desire to protect others from what seems could be a possible wrongful termination.

          Many times both companies and distributors will react in an knee jerk reaction, and when this happens it just cases more issues. I was involved a few years ago, with a similar situation, only I was working for the company. Long story short, we won the lawsuits, but lost the trust of the field.

          It put me on a quest to help others NOT goes through the same thing if I could help it.

          Thank you Miss Kim for sharing.

          Troy
