Jonathan’s Journey Of Faith Hope Love The Story Of Unconditional Love

Jonathan’s Journey of Faith Hope Love… The real life story of a Mom & Dad’s Unconditional Love in the midst of a raging storm.

Jonathan's Journey

When I read of Jonathan’s journey, I started to cry. I know what a dad goes through when he can’t change the fate of the little one growing in his mommies tummy.

I remember standing at the foot of the bed, when Paige miscarriage, and little Aaron was born. I remember the anger, hurt, pain, devastation, and the look of sadness on Paige’s face which I could not fix.

At the time we could not figure out why the God we loved so dearly would allow us to experience such heart wrenching devastation.

But it didn’t stop there. A week later a nurse calls to schedule an example and her words still ring in my ears “we need to schedule a follow up to your abortion!

The tears just flowed as Paige explained it was a miscarriage.

So, reading Laurens emotions as she shares in this blog, touched my heart. I know what Greg is going through. The pain of not being able to fix this situation, and yet, knowing the Lord has a plan.

I our case, we did not see the plan for close to a year. Then one day a waitress who worked for us, in the restaurant we own became pregnant. With the baby less than 6″ long, and completely undeveloped past the waist, the little gal decided to come into this world early.

No one in Angel’s life could empathize with what she was going through… Except Paige. Paige was by her side. And I can say today 10 years later, that little baby is a thriving health girl.

So, when any of us are whining about how life sucks… We need to realize… There is always a purpose for what we go through! And if we get rid of our Dull, Negative, Dissolution, Crybaby attitudes long enough to ask…

What Can I Learn From This? We will start to live our true purpose in life.

Living An Epic Adventure,

Troy

  1. Your story also drew to my mind the reality that 'We were all born to die' but Jesus Christ came and broke the chains of death and the grave and granted us eternal life through his death, burial, and resurection. It makes sense therefore to accept God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, then no matter what happens in your lives as a result of the 'sin factor', the 'grace factor' – the precious blood of Jesus, will prevail and God will be glorified. Keep the Faith, we serve a God "who is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all we ask or think…" Ephesians 3:20

  2. There are wow's that are as a result of something great and tremendously exciting happening that leaves you breathless, and there are wows that come as a result of something so deep and touching that that's all that is left to be said. Greg and Laurens story fallsin the latter category. My heart was deeply touched when I also read their story. I reflected on my now 14 months old baby girl and froze at the thought that Jonathan's story could have easily had been our family story. I strongly support in prayer Lauren and am believing God to grant her her 'wish' and strengthen her continuously as his perfect Will unfolds in her life. I am also impressed to counsel her and her husband to do a thorough searching and cleansing of themselves and ensure that all doorways through which the enemy can find an entrance are confesed and closed, by the blood of Jesus Christ.
