Global Verge shut off by their wireless provider Activation King Wireless because of thousands of unpaid activations and tens of thousands of dollars owed.

If you have watched the video you know I am livid at what is taking place at Global Verge aka Global Mobile 1. For months we have covered this company and at times given them room to correct their issues. However to date the only ones who have become financially independent is the owners Ted Robbins and Mark petschel who have sent millions to offshore bank accounts.

Here is the information we have received over the last few weeks.

1. Global Verge Gateway (Merchant Account) has held funds
2. Activation King has ceased all business dealings
3. Reps/Customers can’t renew their prepaid phones

This is not new info, this is the same crap we have heard over and over. Yet each time Global Verge wants to SPIN the story, and the top paid distributors (Triple Diamonds) keep raping the downline for all the money they can get before this company goes south.

I have, at the request of top distributors backed off a little to give the company room. Well not any longer! We are going to push this issue until one of three things happen.

1. The company is sold to folks who know how to run it.
2. The top distributors buy the company and hires a top rated MLM Team to run it.
3. Some regulatory takes control of the company.

This is 100% wrong, and the Triple Diamonds who are part of this shell game will be held responsible for their greedy, unethical actions to the unknowing distributors who are following their leadership.

This is due to numerous factors, such as Airtime not being paid for, and risking the agreements we have with other companies. Customers and E-associates, are just not getting what they paid for. We as a company can not could not stand by and let this continue to happen, nor could we afford to support customers who we were not paid for.”

  3. troy, Right now, I am a global verge distributor, I believe this is old bull, and someone from team g or chris has miss informed you. as a distr, I have been part of some very confidential corp meetings , with vendors and carriers. We have been treated with respect, by them. I know for a fact that we have several direct contracts and agreements. I also am part of the warehouse and investor group for hardware out of tampa, our facility will ship over 20k units per month, by the end of may. I was present in vegas, for the national cellular show . where our investment team took a 1.5 million dollar letter of credit for an order of 15,000 hand sets, that was placed . I worked for 3 days, over 17 hrs ,a day with vendor meetings and carrier meeting. there was no time for hookers. Plus we are blessed to have the most beautiful wifes on earth. We will employ over 500,000 people in the next 28 month. that is what this country needs Now . I respect your opinion, so please make a small attempt to be a little accurate. – Billy

Big grin here i have and i got it all back all 500.00 or so from day one. big grin again.

    GM1 Update

    All e-Associates:

    As promised, we have been working very hard to revamp our GM1 Mobile offering for everyone to retail. In doing so we wanted to update you with our status.

    1) Recently we stopped all ability for our e-Associates to purchase new plans. This does not affect people on existing plans previously purchased or re-ups .

    2) We have informed everyone that if you have purchased a plan which includes large data or unlimited data and are not receiving these data levels, we will be mailing out checks for the difference and will adjust the commissions accordingly.

    3) All replicated websites for GM1 will be taken down today allowing our programming team put up our new marketing pages and complete the vendor activations. We know everyone is very excited for the new pages and we are working very hard to get these new pages up so we can turn back on new purchasing of these products.

    4) We have been receiving here at corporate, many emails from very kind e-Associates pointing out false and misleading information they are receiving via email, supposedly originating from wireless carriers. These emails have been confirmed to contain false information. Please disregard any and all information in these or any correspondence unless it specifically comes directly from corporate or is posted via the notification area in your back office.

  11. I'm an honest person, I went to WOW Mobile and they are selling a Plan for $80.00 Shit ! But they are also telling me that there is no auto ship but sign-up 3 and get your service FREE! How are they going to pay every one $Thousands Of Dollars weekly with only $80.00??? I don't trust WoW Mobile and Troy says be very careful with them!! It's going to take them 10 years to really make any money and by then they too are going to fail! I'm staying away from WOW Mobile, a Possible Scam there too! And I don't belive that they are recruiting GV top distributors into WOW Mobile, they must love the idea of loosing more money then!!.

    Hey this is great news for the field. Any activations are better than none at all.

    I agree that nothing gets built overnight. But three years is a long time to get something built. And then in the end, it is not at all what it was suppose to be. Truly this is my biggest beef. Unlike the average distributor, we have seen this run three times now, and in each even, the excuses for failing have always been placed on the back of the distributor and/or the venders.

    But, with that said, knowing at least you have gotten activations going is a start. Now the question will be, what happens when the flood gates open to the public? And I am still very concerned with the companies focusing on retail outlets. there is not one company in history that has used retail and MLM who has ever kept both marketing channels.

  19. First I wanted to thank you Troy for the steps you take to maintain privacy when t is requested and also for making sure that everything that gets posted is within the guidelines of the law. I think the accusations are a little lobsided but usually the negative people are the ones that speakout the most.
    With that being said, I wanted to add a little bit of positive. Within the last couple of days I have been able to activate a GSM phone (iphone) and a CDMA phone (droid) through Global Mobile 1. I assure you this would not be possible if all accusations were true. I will admit it is odvious that they have fallen behind in many areas (support tickets, delivery of SIMs & phones, etc.) but that does not automatically make it a scam. There has been progress and that is all we can ask for. Nothing gets built overnight and without glitches. I'm not making excuses for anybody. I'm just telling you what I have been able to receive through GM1 which would not be possible if all the accusations were true.
    Thank you for your time and I will be posting again. Living in anger and hatred is bad for the soul.

They want us to just listen,use all their posted training materials AND become our own CSRs before we can sell the regular CDMA … Then they hosted a 4hour training that re-routed us and HIGHLY Encouraged us to purchase a Land line Video Conferencing phone and hook those up in our presentations to WOW our prospects!!!???   23. …(huge sigh) I originally signed up in Sept 09 all because of the puff about the "can you see me now?" 7person video conferencing phones and technology HYPE. It was very exciting and tempting. How many licks does it take to get to the bottom of an MLM scam? Well, I have this wonderfully recorded opportunity meeting to get my people all hyped up about it too! We've been given date after date after date for the launch and pre-launch of these international video conferencing $300 to $400 phones. Our whole team is still being bamboozled. Many have dropped out and some are still holding out. Since then, my upline who gave me this HYPED up VIDEO has disconnected his phone and the triple diamond above him, has set his email to auto-response. Thus I put in a trouble ticket that THEY marked – priority (low) asking for some explanation about the phones and a link to a new upline. Three weeks later, they sent me an email response (next tuesday we will have some new phones available). WHAT??? And as you have heard here by other eassociates, they do not answer their phone. (PART ONE OF TWO)

Unfortunately WOW isn't in any better situation than GV. They just charge a lot more to join so they have more to pay out. Pretty simple.

If everyone keeps on them and more people cancel their autoship I promise the presure will be too great and they will have to stop thier scam.

    So what is the situation with GV, are they able to provide phones or activations to new customers now that AK is gone or is the wireless business now totally dead. Second what are you going tot he Attorney general with to shut down GV:

    1) Proof that they committed fraud by offering a $40 plan with 20 mb data as a 79.99 plan with 5 gig data.

    2) Proof via documents and emails that GV is wiring money offshore instead of paying distributors and eventually plan to leave with all distributors money and blame it on partners.

    3) Proof that the Triple D's know this and are promoting anyway making them a partner in crime.

    4) Proof that they owe you money and that your relationship with GV was not severed because you were stealing customers as GV claims.

    Is a court case pending between you and GV, if this is truly a scam then serious action needs to be taken. Please make sure that not only Ted & Mark are held accountable but also the top distributors who continue to hide the truth and lie in order to benefit from the downline monthly memberships. I am going to stop my autoship until I know the truth.

    I do understand what you are saying, and you make a strong point. The question we may want to ask, is who's information is it? I have to admit, I am still confused with who owns what, who owns the activated clients, and who are the real players in all of this. If Chris really did merge with Global Verge and owns a piece of the company or the other way around, then maybe he has a leg to stand on.

    I'm like you my friend, tired and confused of it all. What I don't want to see happen is good distributors who this may be their very first experience to think all of MLM is like this. Seems this week tens of thousands of distributors have had the rug pulled out from under them, and I just can't sit back and take it, when these folks all deserve a chance.

    You have me laughing. the spikes are also about the same time we sent out newsletters. I have not sent a Newsletter since November.

    It's never about traffic! I covered this in a blog post and on Facebook a few months ago, when a TVI rep tried to use the same old tactic. The video is still live at facebook and here.

    But, I will out of respect address a little here.

    Professional bloggers just like professional social marketers are not looking for traffic or friends. What we do want is very targeted organic traffic and friends.

    If you or anyone takes time to study our community, you will very quickly see our largest footprint is reviewing MLM companies, providing training and doing reviewing on leaders in the MLM profession. These have brought us more subscribers than posts on Scam Alerts.

    Our most viral videos are those which have to do with legit companies, not those we report on under the scam alerts.

    If you look at Alexa or Compete, you will find two small but very important benchmarks for us. It is our upsteam and downstream from Facebook and the amount of sites linking in to our blog.

    These are the same benchmarks the search engines look at to determine if we are producing valuable content.

    We fully understand when we post on a Scam Alert we take a risk on hurting our own SEO rankings with the search engines and do it anyway. Search engines count spikes in traffic against the site because they know it is not from normal content.

    With any of our blogs, micro-blogs or profiles it is all about generating very specific targeted subscribers. We want to build a very tight community of people who come back often, not just when we do a scam alert update.

    If you hang around long enough, and meet some of the people I am very close with and have served over the last 20 plus years, and you ask them about me, you will soon start to see a pattern.

    But, it is always great to have an unofficial conscience 🙂

    Of course, in keeping with the theme of my prior comments, I am sharing opinions, not necessarily facts. We are all adults here. Draw your own conclusions with the information before you.

    Increased traffic, increased subscribers, maybe a few more affiliate sales from the links on your blog, future sales down the road due to increase subscribers.

    This blog is your business. If it was not generating revenue for you, you would most likely be working beside me in the library.

    I have noticed a trend when looking at your Alexa stats. Global Verge appears to have been good for your traffic. You had a spike near the end of October when you endorsed it. You had another traffic spike in November when you pulled your endorsement. Your traffic in December was pretty flat. Now you have a new spike. So it is pretty easy to conclude that your goal was to increase traffic.

    Now with that said, your post has also been good for my traffic. I just checked my stats. MLM Help Desk is one of the top five referring sites to my blog. Thanks for sharing the love.

    I respect everything you're saying and I'm not going to lie and tell you that I'm not dissapointed, I am extremely crushed! I totally agree with you that there are many associates that were not happy with the way things were (or weren't), handled. I'm not going to sit here and say that there aren't alot of people pissed off right now. I agree with all that. What I don't agree with is posting individuals PRIVATE inforamtion to make his point. He didn't have to do that. The truth will come out in the wash as the say and he didn't have to stoop to that level 'straightforward' or not. Guess I'm jus the type that just believes that the creme will rise to the top and in the process, I'm not going to play dirty. Just sharing how I feel is all.

    I truly believe with everything coming out right now there will be a lot of things exposed. It seems Verizon is somehow involved and is not happen themselves. However, I am not completely clear yet where they fit into this saga, except they have contracts with many of the smaller third party players in this situation. This is a highly regulated industry, and if the regulatory agencies get involved we may see some things we have never dreamed of.

    Now to answer your questions.

    1. If they have additional contracts with other MNVO providers then they can activate phones. It could be Page Plus is one such company.

    2. If their website states one thing, and the activations are completely another, then this is grounds for fraud. And since all web pages are snapped and archived, even if it is changed, there is a copy of it.

    "My Legal department", is different than saying "my lawyer"

    However, I can say I have been contacted today by an attorney who has talked to Chris about this situation. So before you count Chris as the bad guy in this you might want to wait till the smoke clears. This attorney is no small potatoes, so if Chris is talking with him, then Chris must have a little money in his back pocket.

    Now I am not sure if I can agree with your comment on "playing fair" Playing fair is what got over 3000 American's killed on 9/11 and continues to get our troops killed today.

    Playing fair, is what you do in organized sports, not in war. And from the looks of things I would say Global Verge declared war and Chris is fighting back in a very straightforward, head on attack.

    I just finished reading through the trouble tickets posted at AKW and this sure looks to me like a counter strike Global Verge made on Chris when teb Robbins sent out the letter denouncing Chris and calling him a liar. Two things stand out to me.

    1. GV does not seem to have everything caught up, nor is everyone happy as they claimed on their calls and in their email.

    2. From the dates posted, it seems Chris is getting his info from someone on the inside of the company. So I wonder if all is as fine in the land of Global Verge. Maybe there are other venders, partners, or employees who are also worried about the distributors.

    One last thought… I bet the former distributors from Mark's past companies who are still owed commissions, would question your statement on playing fair also.

Doesn't look too good for your new company. Just so you know, the jury is still with me. At this point, I'm not making any moves. I'm seriously still trying to digest it all. I'm sickened and disheartened by the whole thing, however, I do still believe in 'playing' FAIR, not resorting to dirty tactics. There's no need.   43. Troy, my worry is that GM1/GV might be selling basic Page Plus plans with only 20Mb of data, as being UNLIMITED 5Gb plans, and if someone complains, they say it must be an incomplete activation or some similar excuse.
    Selling a product that you cannot deliver would be fraud, of course.

    1) Can they still sell and activate plans without Activation King as middleman ?
    2) Do we have proof positive that they delivered usable 5Gb plans ?

    This is again one of the craziest things I have seen. I can tell you they sure did not run this by their attorney before sending it out.

    1. We have not been contacted by anyone from Global Verge corporate or anyone representing them.

    2. From my knowledge Scam.com has not been contacted by anyone from Global Verge corporate or anyone representing them.

    3. Blogging communities like MLMHelpDesk.com are covered under The Communication Decency Act when it comes to issues like these. If people think we just randomly post things, they should sit back and ask why nothing has ever been removed from MLMHelpDesk.com. We are very careful to report using available facts. Even where I state opinion, the opinion is backed by factual public data. When we can't substantiate the data, we hold it. If we feel it is important, then we send it on to some regulatory agency who has the resources to determine if it is legit or just a scammer playing games.

    4. I am sure GV has several resellers looking to do business with them, and they may very well have more than one player. However, in reviewing some of the information we have received since last Thursday when the post went live, I can say it does not look like they are caught up with anything.

    5. Since this company has made it clear they have several different merchant accounts, there is a good possibility they are still accepting peoples money. From what we have seen reported here on the blog, they are not accepting PayPal.

    6. I am reading trouble tickets which frustrated GV distributors have sent to us as late as yesterday and from what we are reading these folks are still needing sim cards, phones and activations. It seems folks are receiving sim cards, but when they try to activate them, the sim card does not work.

    7. I am sure there are some excited people getting phones. If I had waited months or even weeks for a phone, I would be excited also. Then again, this excitement may also be from frustration because the phone they got still doesn't work. The question folks should ask is this… If GV is having this kind of trouble trying to get sim cards, activations and phones for their distributors, what kind of issues are the customers going to have when and if this goes live?

    8. and as for checking around with folks… This si an old story. We heard this same statement back in the days of the Global verge/Zer01 partnership. People were brought on the conference calls telling folks how well the Zer01 phones and technology worked. Then we find out there were never any working phones.

    9. But remember… Don't call global Verge with any problems, because it just backs up the system. there are some companies which should not use a virtual business model, if they can't handle the customer service calls.

    10. I do respect Xennsoft… I wonder if the two day meeting was them asking for their money… Or if the distributors are lucky Xennsoft will take control of the company and get things fixed.

    Ok, now back to the top…

    The last time I checked, Slander, Defamation of Character and Libal all had to do with blatant false statements. Here is a good definition…

    " Generally speaking, defamation is the issuance of a false statement about another person, which causes that person to suffer harm. Slander involves the making of defamatory statements by a transitory (non-fixed) representation, usually an oral (spoken) representation. Libel involves the making of defamatory statements in a printed or fixed medium, such as a magazine or newspaper."

    Typically, the elements of a cause of action for defamation include:

    1. A false and defamatory statement concerning another;
    2. The unprivileged publication of the statement to a third party (that is, somebody other than the person defamed by the statement);
    3. If the defamatory matter is of public concern, fault amounting at least to negligence on the part of the publisher; and
    4. Damage to the plaintiff.

    To be perfectly clear, nether MLMHelpDesk.com or Troy Dooly has published or spoken anything which even remotely comes close to a false statement. If folks go back all the way to the beginning, the closest thing which might even come close was when I reversed my opinion on Global Verge form Scam Alerts to Legit MLM companies. But since I did not want the distributors calling us into a class action lawsuit for not reporting on the facts, I put my friendships aside and reported our opinion based on the facts we have at hand.

    By the way…

    Here is another little piece of the general definition of the law…

    "The most important defense to an action for defamation is "truth", which is an absolute defense to an action for defamation.

    Another defense to defamation actions is "privilege". For example, statements made by witnesses in court, arguments made in court by lawyers, statements by legislators on the floor of the legislature, or by judges while sitting on the bench, are ordinarily privileged, and cannot support a cause of action for defamation, no matter how false or outrageous.

    A defense recognized in most jurisdictions is "opinion". If the person makes a statement of opinion as opposed to fact, the statement may not support a cause of action for defamation. Whether a statement is viewed as an expression of fact or opinion can depend upon context – that is, whether or not the person making the statement would be perceived by the community as being in a position to know whether or not it is true. If your employer calls you a pathological liar, it is far less likely to be regarded as opinion than if such a statement is made by somebody you just met. Some jurisdictions have eliminated the distinction between fact and opinion, and instead hold that any statement that suggests a factual basis can support a cause of action for defamation.

    A defense similar to opinion is "fair comment on a matter of public interest". If the mayor of a town is involved in a corruption scandal, expressing the opinion that you believe the allegations are true is not likely to support a cause of action for defamation.

    A defendant may also attempt to illustrate that the plaintiff had a poor reputation in the community, in order to diminish any claim for damages resulting from the defamatory statements."

    And, if by some chance we have been played along the way by any of the scammers involved in this saga, then we are still covered under the Immunity for Online Publishers Under the Communications Decency Act

    "Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act grants interactive online services of all types, including blogs, forums, and listservs, broad immunity from tort liability so long as the information at issue is provided by a third party. Relatively few court decisions, however, have analyzed the scope of this immunity in the context of "mixed content" that is created jointly by the operator of the interactive service and a third party through significant editing of content or the shaping of content by submission forms and drop-downs.

    So what are the practical things you can take away from this guide? Here are five:

    1. If you passively host third-party content, you will be fully protected under Section 230.

    2. If you exercise traditional editorial functions over user submitted content, such as deciding whether to publish, remove, or edit material, you will not lose your immunity unless your edits materially alter the meaning of the content.

    3. If you pre-screen objectionable content or correct, edit, or remove content, you will not lose your immunity.

    4. If you encourage or pay third-parties to create or submit content, you will not lose your immunity.

    5. If you use drop-down forms or multiple-choice questionnaires, you should be cautious of allowing users to submit information through these forms that might be deemed illegal."

Our lawyers have contacted the parties involved and the false allegations will be dealt with through the court system.     There is a BIG difference between an individual using Pay Pal to take/make payments online and a legit company using it as their order taking system. What sort of stable, long term company doesn't have the ability to set up online ordering for their reps??????

    You do make a good point. I know more and more companies are using PayPal and Google Shopping Cart as alternative payment methods these days, but you do not see it as a primary payment methods 99% of the time.

    You make a great point… "Troy's Opinions" although my opinion is based on facts we have published and some we have not, at the end of the day until a court of law decides of GV is legit or a scam, it is seen as my opinion.

    Now, there is one small thing here we need to think about. If I remember right, when the GV/AKW deal was announced, it was not announced as client/vender deal, it was announced as some type of merger. Now if it was a real merger that might put a whole new light on things.

    And boy do I know where you are coming from with the apologizing… I have done that myself in the past. More than likely I'll do it in the future also.

  66. I respect and value Troy's opinions. But that is the point I was making, it is his opinion. As far as GV and AKW is concerned, who cares. It is a vendor and client issue, being tried in a public forum, where opinions and theory often masquerade as facts.

    I have shared privately some thoughts and theories with Troy, as this is not the place to launch accusations without a preponderance of proof to back it up.

    Yes, I have been here several times. Usually when, his blog posts make it to the top of the search engines. I would like to see what is said.

    However my comment was not said to defend or defame. I once made a mistake of sharing information about an individual and his company on an online forum 12 years ago. It was an opinion based on information received from one source and not from both parties. It required some serious back peddling, brown nosing and a public apology to avoid litigation. I would hate to see Troy's credibility and reputation tarnished if he found himself in a similar situation.

I use paypal and a merchant account, I use paypal on the sites for the associate that owns the site protection against fraud, and not getting paid, transfers are instant because we have a pro merchant account, and there is no fees because my company eats that cost, so can you tell me a downside?

    And he HAS allowed friendships to cloud his vision at times. He actually DID back off on GV due to friendships…he didn't research XELR8 as deeply as he should have, again out of friendships.

    And what did he do afterward?

    He acknowledged and apologized and promised to do better in the future.

    That is class. That is integrity. That is honor. That is a friend to the industry.

    And the only financial benefit Troy is going to get for all his help he has given me is the biggest juicy steak in Destin the next time I am there!

    It truly amazes me, that when someone stands up to ask the tough questions everyone want to point fingers trying to find some hidden agenda. Yet, if you set back and don't say anything they get mad because we did not speak up.

    I am proud to have made some great friendship with most of the founders and leaders of every wireless company in MLM, not all but most. And if you were to talk to each one of them, they would be the first to tell you I have sure asked them some hard questions, and question some of the moves they have made.

    The difference is ALL of them have been willing to talk. They have explained what they are doing, changed what did not work, or are just ow launching.

    Just wait until I write about the one company who has VOIP Wireless working (Been using the phone WITHOUT a sim chip for months) that will really open the eyes of some.

    I think Jim Bartlett of Lightyear wrote it best here on the blog the other day… There is plenty of room for several companies if they are running their business right.

    It is crazy… I even had a friend call the other night, and he had talked to a Triple Diamond had called him to inform him I only do this to get increase traffic to my site. I had to laugh at that one because if anyone knows anything about SEO and how the search engines work, they know that spikes in traffic HURT your rankings, they do not help!

    A site needs consistent steady traffic. Then I asked him… What does traffic do for me anyway? I don't market anything of great value on my site. We review companies, and share info, and from our non MLM sites.

    Casper, you are a good friend, you have been around me from the beginning of this saga, and I wantt to thank you for your continued friendship. I am just sorry you and thousands of others who bled GV for so many months did not get the payoff you deserved.

  77. Just to follow up on what I had posted earlier concerning AKW and GV.

    I tried to activate with Unlimited Wizard, but didn't get an email for about 2 hours later telling me I need to remove the ESN. But I did get a call from Chris helping me to get activated. He went thru the process and got me activated within minutes!!!

    As I stated earlier, I am now a former e-associate and will now be working Chris' program! I don't know what GV's issue is with AKW, but I just got the best confirmation of who is real and who is scamming people. I no longer believe anything they are saying and I don't understand how Jan or Ruth or Jim Helman can continue to push this scam unless they're in it to keep scamming people just so they can get paid their thousands from naive people like me and thousands of others.

    I want to personally thank you for coming by and sharing. I was talking to a close friend in network marketing today and he asked me what was up with GV, and I equated it to politics. I told him, there are some party members who just go with the flow of what they are fed, then there are some grass root distributors who are fed up with the crap, and are asking for a change, for the company to start listening to the needs of the field, or else a revolt is going to take place.

    I'm glad to see a level head come by and share pure frustration, instead of just defending the undefendable.

    Roland, I am friends with several company founders and/or officers. And I have voiced my frustration with each one of them. So far I have found one company who truly offers wireless VOIP and one company who has a branded cell service (two different companies) FDIVOICE is very close to the mandi service GV offers, so I am not sure how that will go, but it does work pretty good because I am testing it.

    If you are serious about a wireless opportunity contact me offline and I will gladly give you three or four different companies to review and decide if they fit your business model or personal needs.

  82. First of all, I'm a GV e-associate, but a damn pissed off one! I just want a company that can provide the service. I was led to believe that AKW was working with GV and providing the service. Now AKW is slamming GV when I thought AKW was doing all the activation?! I tried calling AKW and all I get is a recording and I can't even leave a message. Just like GV, all I get is a stupid looping response and can't even leave a message. And when I was able to leave a message at AKW, I have never gotten a call back.

    So this Chris guy comes on here and starts bad mouthing GV when their customer service is just as bad!!!! I don't get it? I can't get a human voice at either business at any of the phone numbers. This is just frustrating as hell!

    I just want a company that doesn't lie their ass off to get customers. I want a company that will do what they say they can do.

    As for Troy, are you connected with FDI? Are you friends with the company heads? Because I don't see FDI being any better. They have a front loading structure ($500?), who wants to pony up that much to get wireless phone service when you can get service at other stores without the up front fee.

    Just letting out frustration here.

    Thank you for stopping by. Let's look at a few facts in this situation.

    1. ALL venders, strategic partners, or whatever you want to call them all sign a NDA/NCA (Non Disclosure Agreement & Non Compete Agreement) Why would Chris Greco risk a lawsuit, unless what he is saying has merit?

    2. You might want to do what I did and talk with Tier 1 carriers like Verizon who does have an agreement with Chris and who explained the Global Verge situation in detail.

    3. Reba have you researched the ownership of Activation King Wireless to see who owns the company and where it is located? Have you taken time to research the site and see what is written. I find it interesting you would write this comment, if you had researched all the legal findings.

    4. Why do you feel AKW has been paid everything due them? you have seen the merchant records for activations, or are you taking the word of folks who have paid an Escort Service owner $150K while telling distributors they do not have access to their funds to pay them?

    5. I laugh at your comment on commissions. We have access to numerous distributors who were NEVER paid commissions, and are still trying to get paid. I can show you distributors who had their downlines ripped away and moved to other legs. Get a clue girl. You can drink the Kool Aid, but it does not change the fact.

    6. Again, you write from a very limited understanding of merchant accounts. Merchant account processors don;t get scared. Everything they do is based on approved transactions, chargebacks, and complaints. When the cash starts flowing, they automatically increase reserve holdings, or freeze access to the funds until they are sure there is not a scam going on. If the owners are not credit worthy then they demand high reserve accounts.

    Having run an MLM company where we ran millions of dollars a week and sometimes daily, I have a little knowledge in this area. We never had our accounts frozen because we were credit worthy. However, there were a couple of times we had to increase our reserve against chargebacks.

    Please explain to me why a company is forced to move to an offshore processor? This happens when the US based processors believe the company is a risk and close them down.

    Reba, you do not have to like the facts but the fact still remain.

    7. reba, no one cares about Global Verge and their portals. What we care about is the unethical manner the company is run, and the fact distributors have suffered. This company has taken in millions in membership fees after promising some world changing wireless revolution. They then did a bait and switch for the third time, blamed it on venders for a third time, and have continued to take the money of good hearted distributors who believed in what their upline triple diamond were feeding them.

    Show me anyone triple diamond or lower who is making anywhere near the propaganda preached? The comp plan has issues (as do most force matrix) and the only people who have made any real money has been the company.

    I truly wish you the best of luck, in your tenure with Global Verge, and for your sake I hope you are 100% right.

  87. You are taking the word of an unscrupulous ex-vendor with an agenda. Activation King is still alive and well, and working directly with Global Verge on a daily basis. They have been paid everything due to them and are in for the long haul. All commissions are being paid on time, and have been since the one blip in jun/jul when so many people signed up it scared the merchant accounts. The closer GV gets to opening up their portals for retail sales the fiercer the attacks. just wait and see. The naysayers will be eating their words.

  88. I am so sad for all the folks that put their hopes and trust in the leaders, both in the company and field. I was one of them for awhile and I know how good they are at making you believe everything is going to be ok. We were always pushed ahead by the "What If's" and that can be very powerful when you have big dreams. What is also sad for me is that we brought friends into this mess and they are still hopeful and staying because of what they have been told by the very talented leaders that have many years experience at "saying what you want to hear".
    I really can't believe some of the things I am reading here and I don't understand why someone would even consider this at all after doing any homework. Integrity should far outweigh $$$.

  91. Soooo disappointed! I'm a GV e-associate that told several friends who joined as well. My friend purchased a phone 11/27/09 and was charged approximately $250 on her credit card. To date she has never received her phone (1/23/10). Numerous support tickets, phone calls that go to corporate offices which are voice recordings………..never a real live person NEVER NEVER NEVER. Triple Diamond JAN JOHNSON (Boulder Colorado) who got me into this company said was contacted in an effort to help replied that she doesn't know how she could help us.     FDI has had their own issues, although it was more of two companies who had different business models.

    I am testing their current service and it is not much different that Global Verges Mandi service. I do think FDI is focusing on this service heard and showing how it can save lives. But, telecommunication is new for FDI so there will be some issues.

    Even Global Verge leaders wrote this last week, they were just now putting a strategy together for 2010 and forming a five year business plan? What "Future billion dollar" business doesn't launch with a five year plan? Sounds like a bank or merchant wanted some plans in writing before opening more credit.

What I find so humorous is the fact Global Verge distributors find the need to defend they company, and yet the company itself refusing to answer any of the questions we have raised over the last few months.

    We used company calls and asked questions, no opinion just questions, yet no answers.

    There is only one any other company we have issues a scam alert on where the distributors find the need to defend their actions as heavily, TVI, I have to ask why?

    When I came down hard on Randy Jeffers for the crash of Destiny, and his launch of WOW, he did not hide behind reps, he did not promise to reach out then never did, he called and we talked.

    When I came out hard on Global Verge, it was Steve Lewis who came forth to talk, not the founders. And Steve and I never saw eye to eye, but he knew I would report as I saw fit.

    Paul, I am sure as a person you are a great gentleman. And I am sure you are leading your family and friends as you see fit.

    But, if Global Verge is such a great deal, then go build it, and don't worry about what folks write.

    When I was with A.L. Williams, we did not defend ourselves, the company did that in court and won, instead we went and built a business. So stop worrying about opinionated folks like me, and go build the business.

    If I am wrong, then the facts will show that in the months and years to come. If I am right, then you'll find a new company.

    Have you ever wondered why every outside partner who has promoised to, or who have provided wireless have split from Global Verge?

    Have you taken the time to review ALL the links to the court documents, public records, and other documentation on Global Verge and their history?

    Let me explain something to you… You are the same person, who if we did not write about Global Verge, would come back and gripe when they go out of business or cut the compensation and start another company as they have four the last four or five year.

    You are the person who can't admit they did not do their homework and may have made a mistake.

    If we did not report facts, then the ownership of the blog would be hidden and I would be going by the name ECLIPSE.

    Please continue to drink the propaganda from the company.

    One last thought… Did you ever wonder, why the company would decide to talk about this and send emails about this specific blog? Maybe, just maybe they understand that we do report facts, and that major investigative reporters come here, the SEC, FTC, IRS, and several state AGs are subscribers and read what we write.

Those who did stay must have been sworn to secrecy, and have brought in a new group of good hearted, hungry entrepreneur folks who in their excitement did not learn about the past. How many partners have left this company? Take a look over the last three or four years folks.

    Another thing I bet none of these distributors have done, is read the Policies and Procedures… If they read them they will learn Global Verge can cut the compensation plan anytime they see fit. I wonder if the original field leaders signed the same agreements?

But like fools we kept forking over the $40/month for nothing…until we, and everyone else, got stiffed on the so-called "training" they promised for a certain date. That date came and went…no training, no e-mailed reason why, no nothing! Sent in several support tickets asking why there was no promised training and no notification. Finally a week later "service" e-mailed back and said thet "notification was posted that the training was cancelled". Well, that "notice was posted a number of days AFTER the scheduled "training date. These people are the pits who make money on the old adage, "a sucker is born every minute". We have all been suckered!

    5. Global Mobile1 Service – We are an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). This means that we provide mobile phone service directly through the carriers. The data for our customers is housed on a server. This is the same server that other carriers use.
    I am addressing this detail because there have been well meaning, yet misinformed e-Associates, that for some reason have tried to track down our detail and have been contacting the server administrators. These server administrators can see any carrier?s data. However, the only way to determine which MVNO a specific customer has gone through is to know the specific MVNO code. The customer service agents at the server location do not have access to these codes. Therefore, when the server administrator looks at the information they will not be able to discern which carrier the data is from, but just that the data is on the server. So, based on partial information, these researching e-Associates are making assumptions about where their service originated or who activated their service. Unfortunately the assumptions they are making are wrong assumptions based on partial information that is disseminated by seemingly helpful customer service reps from the server location.
    I cannot stress enough the value that our vendor relationships bring to us. Our vendors cannot handle a barrage of calls from e-Associates. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that any questions regarding your service come directly to Global Verge or Global Mobile1 so that you can get accurate and valid information.

    7. International Global Mobile1 – We are in the process of reviewing final agreements for mobile in Canada. Once this has been done we will set up replicated sites for our Canadian e-Associates to sell the Global Mobile1 service. We are very close. Australia is our next mobile focus point and we are in the process of developing agreements there.
    We have been concentrating on getting all the bugs worked out in the US so that we can feel confident in our international roll out.

    Since you did not address this to me personally I guess you may be talking to others. However, I did talk with the MNVO team at Verizon today, and missed the call back from T-Mobile. But from what I did learn from Verizon prompted us to go ahead and post.

    The whole story will come out in a court of law, and not before. There are so many current and past players in this mess, and everyone is scrambling to cover their butts right now. It will be interesting just how fast Jay Nixon the AG of Missouri decides to get involved in a larger way than they have already.

    I talked with Verizon today as we were validating information, and I find it interesting that the CEO of Global Verge would say something so easy to prove. Ask him to provide the contact info with the carriers they have direct contracts. Each carrier has an MNVO team, you can call and verify the info. Make sure it's not a reseller company but direct with the tier 1 carrier.

By the way, if you notice the dates on the website (December 13th and December 19th), and use your common sense, you'll figure out rather quickly that Chris has been putting this together while still representing Global Verge!! You don't see that as a little suspicious? HMMMM, is it possible that HE is the one that owes Global Verge money, since HE'S the one that has been taking the money for the activations???? THINK!
