Global Verge founders Ted Robbins and Mark Petschel pay $150,000 to erotic adult escort service TNV Enterprises through Ben Piilani and Zer01 Mobile, while claiming they could not pay distributors their commission payments. What makes this so funny is the managing partner of TNV Enterprises is a shareholder of Zer01 Mobile, and Unified Technologies Group is listed as controlling the TNV Enterprises website.
Nancy Gohring, a well respected investigative journalist, known for her focus to details broke this story on December 15th, while covering the lawsuit filed by Global Verge against Zer01 Mobile and Ben Piilani.
I find it very interesting, that Ben Piilani made a huge deal out of Mark Petchel’s criminal background, as one of the reasons for his breaking the Global Verge/Buzzirk deal, yet one of his shareholders is a criminal. Stealing is stealing, whether it’s a felony or a misdemeanor. Seems to me all of these folks were in bed together,paying each other for all kind of personal services.
But, let’s back up and start at the beginning before Nancy’s investigation have evolved to where the story is today.
In 2007 E-Verge Mark Petschel and his partners claimed to be billionaires, and used the same story to separate hardworking distributors from their dreams. Funny how some of the same founding distributors in E-Verge are promoting Global Verge.

From as far back as E-Verge we can see the same smoke and mirror show. Pretschel and his partners in crime have pretended to be BILLIONAIRES while screwing hardworking, well meaning distributors out of their hard earned money.
And as current as this week, Roberts and Petschel got the field excited by scheduling a HUGE company wide training call so the distributors could get certified to sell the new Global Mobile 1 cell service to the public, and instead of canceling the call in advance, they don’t do anything. Thousands show up to get certified, just to learn, NO ONE FROM GLOBAL VERGE shows up on the call.
Talk about devastation. And this doesn’t even take into account the massive movements of downline legs which is taking place, with the company’s approval. Seems some people are paying Vegas based “adult entertainment services” for their personal pleasures, while raping their distributors.
How come the company is marketing the Global Mobile-1 cell services through the company owned stores, while at the same time tying the hands of the distributors so they can’t compete against the company?
And, I am calling all triple diamonds and founding distributors on the carpet. You can no longer bury your head in the sand, to protect your checks. We have provided years of facts, and yet you want to continue to pretend none of it matters. Well, the time has come for you to act like leaders. Either protect your downlines from getting raped, or you’ll be seen as one of the rapists.

GV President Ted Robbins is in the final stages of preparing the new GM1 study guide and it will be available to everyone momentarily. He apologizes for the delays but the company has been in the process of moving its entire mobile provisioning operations to Kansas City MO over the last couple of days! Did they tell us we were going to get Simple Mobile? NO. Did they lie to us and tell us the printer screwed up? Yes. This is, and was the way they had intended to give us sim cards and service all along. They do not seem to have those agreements with the carriers they talked about and are renting Simple Mobil a reseller, to provide service as Global Mobile 1 to us. Who needs that.

I agree, and now is the time to call out Global Verge , Global Group and all those in recruitment of Global Verge Products and Services. Time has tested the leadership of Global Verge and anyone with discernment knows that what has been shared, dates, products etc, have never been as it was shared. Several have been kind,hopeful,desperate and truly gracious or perhaps foolish believing what appears to be pure deception and giving much time to find empty promises and truly no true Leadership at all.
Global Group if it has true Leaders should be able to change, force, demand the false leadership out and continue what we all hope for with Integrity. If they cannot do this then I call them also with you to stop the recruitment and have full disclosure to the failure.
For those of you that hold the Bible as the authoritative word of God, I think to reflect on 1Thessalonians 5:21,22 which instructs us to test all things. I would hope that we would apply this to our business life as well as to every breath of Life granted to us.
What is found to be good is to be wholeheartedly embraced. What is evil or unbiblical is to be shunned.
I have listened to every corporate live and recorded call since June 2009. I'm an e-associate of Global Verge. I'm truly thankful that I held back from recruitment and truly sad because I believe we shared the same dream. Ahh, the saga continues. Should we have thought that the leadership would do something right? Not going to happen with Global Verge. It's truly amazing what a nightmare this has been going back to May. There has not been 1 thing that has gone right. How the doors are still open, amazes me.
How in the world is someone actually still part of this unethical, unprepared, and unbelievable SCAM? They loaned money to a freaking Escort Service, Joshua! They loaned money to an Escort Service (prostitutes) Joshua! Instead of paying commissions on time, they thought better to give it to prostitutes. How can you possibly defend these cons? Their prior track record in other bogus deals is just as bad.

I've spoken with a couple of Diamond Elite's and according to them they have offered their support and guidance to Mark and Ted but apparently Mark and Ted are not open to it. Folks, I don't think the leaders in the field have as much control as you think. They have simply been relaying what they've been told is the truth. I'm starting to feel that it's really all just a money scam for Mark and Ted. Why not? They've done it in the past and it worked, why not do it again?

I agree with you. The only leaders in the field who seem to have control of those handful who have lead this smoke and mirror show with Mark for years. They are on the inside, and sadly when the FTC or State AG decides to serve the company with papers these few will also get served, and their downline will have their eyes open.
I remember a few years ago, when people told me how wrong I was about NME and ASD, then what happens less than 12 months after I told people to be careful these companies were not legit MLMs, the SEC and Secret Service shut them down, and charge several top field leaders with all kinds of Felonies.

They also owe some of my downline money from months ago. My downline has submitted trouble ticket after trouble ticket and no one in support has responded. Global Verge has put such a black eye on the industry and if they somehow make it, will be a miracle.

Let's take it a step further. It was not until Global Verge merged with Activation King Wireless and got control of the retail stores, that anyone heard about certification. This seems to be another ploy for the founders of Global Verge and a few top distributors to make money during the Holiday season, while keeping their distributors broke enough they can't hire attorneys to help them out.
I sure am glad Jay Nixon the Missouri AG is keeping an eye on things. 2010 should be a very interesting year.

Piliani (and everyone else) had every right to bring up Petchel's criminal background, because he was legally banned from heading up a company (just as Martha Stewart is). Sure he may be a great pitchman, so put him on stage but not in the title of the guy running the company. (Stewart still oversees everything, she's just not a the top of the organization).
Can Piliani control who owns stock in his company? Not if it is publicly traded. So if a criminal wants to buy shares in a publicly traded company, there's not much that can be done. Now, if that SH is close to Piliani, and is given more authority than a SH, well then there's something to discuss!

There is nothing in Mark's probation which states he can't head up a company. It does state he can't solicit investments from investors, or sell investment opportunities. If he solicited funds to launch the company or to gain working capital then it could be seen as a probation violation. Howeve,r starting an MLM is not a violation.
And, since both Ben and Mark were from the same town, and have known each other for a few years, I find it hard to believe Ben did not know all about Mark before he did business with him. Or at the very least as a "tech expert" would have done a background check to see who he was getting into bed with.
As for Piilani, his company is privately held, so he can control who he allows to invest in his company. As for criminals buying shares in publicly traded companies, there are limits on that also. If the amount of the buy trips an SEC trigger, then the SEC can block the sale of stock. And most publicly traded companies have specific amendments in their Articles which gives them the right to limit sale of controlling blocks of stocks.
Since the lawsuit is very clear, Piilani came to Petschel asking for his help with this specific shareholder, it seems to me, he is every close to her. And since he controls her websites, she must trust him. Maybe, just maybe she is the front person, and Piilani is the silent owner of the company…

Is it known why the TNV was paid? In the video of employees in their offices, waving at the camera from clean desks (no working papers), non-personalized work areas (no photos, calendars, knick-knacks); could they have been escorts on the clock to wave/model/act? It could explain why the blonde was so inappropriately dressed for a business office. Could hiring escorts per hour be cheaper than dealing with an modeling/actors agency? A day of shooting with 3-4 actors could easily run 150k.
And if it was for 'services rendered,' well, that must have been an incredible ride. ;-P
Read the lawsuit, it explains in more detail the whole issue. This happened long before the videos were shot. And from the wording of the lawsuit, has nothing to do with video shoots or anything else. Having produced commercials and infomercials with actresses, actors, professional studios at NBC Tampa. Paying for our top leaders to be flown in, put up in hotels, wining and dining them while ther were in town. Plus paying for all the editing, I sitll walked away investing only $50K, not counting another $100K for media buys.
Vegas has the highest unemployment in the country, so I don't think $150K went for a few hours of video showing up on the GV website. It might be a video shoot on another website, but I have not checks… Global Verge Gone Wild!!!!

Anyone see their latest email to the distributors? It says that are an MVNO and makes up a bunch of technical jargon to confuse everyone. To be an MVNO, they would have to have a direct relationship with a company that owns a network, not just be an agent, of an agent, of an MVNO. Just another big lie to mislead and string people along. Mark and Ted will get what's coming to them! Liars, thieves, and cons, and there is no other way of looking at it.

I heard stories about Mark and I was very concerned. I went to meet Mark. I confronted him. I have a very great ability to descern correctly, when meeting one in person.I knew I needed to allow him, his turn to speak. Being a person with strong morals and a former West Point, Military Officers Wife, I had known to not try to ask in ear shot of anyone else, to respect him and give him a chance to voice his answers.When I introduced myself, and told him I had questions to ask, that may be negative I asked him about the hear say and he openly answered the questions. One thing I quickly learned about Mark is that he is very transparent and freely gives out personal information about himself. My inner knowing is that Mark is genuine, transparent and very open with his personal life. I always find it humorous when someone comes to the community and are not transparent enough to use their real name. If you truly believed what Mark said, then you should realize full authenticity and transparency would have been a better way of supporting him.
Bernie Madoff and Alan Stanford also smiled at folks and told them exactly what they want to hear. As a former bounty hunter and bail bond company owner, I have associated with more cons than the average person, and I have yet to meet one who was not as smooth as a light night televangelist when it comes to separating goodharted people from their hard earned money.

During my talk with Mark, he offered more information than I had asked for. As time progressed my husband and I began to spend more time with Mark. I began to really see this man as a man of integrity. I spent an evening with his wife one night and I liked her instantly. It is a family atmosphere where they even pray together. We took the time to know them, and being a very strong believer in our Creator, it was well worth my time.

I have been accepted into several families over the years. One such family was in KC, it was Civila family. Another was the Gambino family our of N.Y. city. They were loving families, who took care of them own, while using and abusing people who were not part of the family.
Now, when you talk about "the creator" are you talking about God, the Father of Jesus Christ, or another creator? Again full transparency would be great. If you are talking about Jesus Christ's father, then I can respond to your last comment. If you are talking about something else, then this next comment will be out of context.

I agree with what you paraphrased, "There will be those who speak in My name who will be left behind." I am a believer in God and Christ. I am a Global Verge rep also and since day one I had some reservations about Mark; but I prayed about continuing with the company and trying to stay within what I thought was God's will. I now know that Global Verge has MANY blemishes about them that does not seem to be getting handled by Global Verge corporate.
My question is this, if Mark truly wanted to create a different image of himself with Global Verge especially in light of his past, why not be transparent with information as far as business is concerned? He can be a great family man with his IMMEDIATE family, but he is not taking care of his Global Verge family by not being forthwith and not keeping reps first. Why do we have to find out things after the fact, like the training, the Zer01 issues, etc…. Even now, why not just tell us who our TRUE backbone is without being so hush-hush about it? As an Infantry Officer, we are to be clear and concise with info so that our men understand our intent and what is going on so they can continue mission. Mark is acting like he doesn't care that people know of his past and sadly, he is not even stepping up to change his perceived image! I feel that when people bring up being strong believers in the creator God, it's more than just believing; it's about walking the walk and talking the talk. A Special Forces co-worker of mine taught me a very important principle: TRUST is GOOD, but POSITIVE CONTROL is better. Right now there is no trust in the corporate leadership by the majority of GV reps. That is a generalization, but I don't believe I am far off the mark. I 100% respect the position in which you are coming from. I go through the same frustration of staying within the Lord's will for my life, as I write and investigate companies. And in the area of Global Verge, I had even reversed my stance and placed them in the MLM Company category for a few weeks, because I honestly thought that had turned a corner, and were doing their very best to create a home where distributors could create a solid home-based business.
I have purposely stayed away from Mark's personal life, and in a couple of cases have come out of his side, making it clear I believe everyone deserves a second chance. However, I do question the continued association with people who, themselves seem to have ethic issues.
Mike, I am continuing to pray for the leadership and distributors in Global Verge, and have friends who have put their future and reputations in making it work. However, I am also a realist, and when things don't change, you wonder if the chooses made are deliberate and not continued mistakes. the fewer distributors, the easier it is for the company to convert 100% to retail stores.

Mark and Ted knew that one of the reps I signed up had called the company a scam, called Mark a Con, changed teams, cross recruited people in my downline which is against policy and procedures and Mark and Ted simple did nothing. Then I find out this rep I signed up, just cancelled his position with Global Verge and Mark and Ted supported him. This person never even made it to Gold Level and I was a triple diamond. All I kept hearing from Mark is that Mark forwarded the information to the companies attorney and Ted needs to make a decision with them. Completely disgraceful. Mark and Ted also owe commissions to reps and they know it, yet they ignore the emails.
Dawning Light, Mark and Ted will tell you what you want to hear. Mark has had one program after another and they ALL have failed. I am just waiting till the mobile program blows up in everyone's face when they will realize that Mark and Ted could not deliver the service they promised everyone.

Yes what a great opportunity, not! I two fell into the boat on this one. Having one of my down lines miraculously disappear one day and try for three months to get what was lost in one sweeping key stroke replaced through the support ticket process what a joke! Each time we submitted a detailed explanation of what needed to be fixed, and then told we'll Ted is the only one who can fix this , and we don't quite understand what it is that your missing! What a joke, oh and then you work up to the diamond status and then don't get paid the bonuses or commisions, and are told by Ruth "Oh your really mis-understanding the compensation payout" What Compensation pay out? We're still waiting to get paid!! People Run !!
Why now? Why in December are we still talking about something that
happened back in July and before? Why are we talking about something
that may or may not have been done personally or in affect towards a company?
We understand Ethics & Honesty and it's finest points but reporting something

You ask a great question, and an easy one to answer. The lawsuit was just filed in October! I posted on the lawsuit, Nancy did a deeper investigation and brought out the new facts, I followed up on her December 16th article.
Now as for the rest of the story. Respectfully I have to disagree with you on Global Verge delivering anything that have promised. I doubt anyone can convinced me it is ethical to hype a technology three different times in ten years, fail to deliver each time, and be convinced the company founders have "delivered everything promised."
What exactly has Global Verge delivered that other companies have not been doing for years? Name just one product or service?
I agree technology is ever changing. however, it does not change as fast as it seems. And when it comes to cell technology, it changes even slower than other niches in the technology field.
And since it is about the present, why didn't the leaders of the company have the fortitude to send an email to the field, telling them the national certification call was canceled, instead of blowing off the call and sending an email after the fact? Peoples time is priceless, especially during the holiday season, when they could be out working to earn money or investing time with their families.
I fully agree we should focus on the present and future. However, when the past track record keeps repeating itself, it is sometimes hard to tell the present from the past.

We're not going to sit here and belabour what has gone on in the past or not. What we can say is that we've stuck with this and they are delivering. They are delivering phones, activations and sim cards too as well as monthly paychecks. The test did not happen when they said it would but thats simply logistics and not an intentional thing that happened.
Logistics is cruicial but sometimes people unlike computers, have things happen beyond their control also! Yes, it' s the holidays and people's time is priceless when they could be doing other things but …exactly how long does it take to login to their back office or call their upline or someone else even corporate and find out what's going on?
Especially when they have a company calendar they can go to and FIND the number of most of the upper echelon people who do the webinars, meetings and corporate calls?
That's all we have to say about that (script from Forest Gump) also a fine movie, ha!

Stating on a weekly training call that a few days from now we will hold a training, then NEVER canceling the call, is not logistics, it is flat out dropping the ball. If it was the first time, no big deal, this has happened over and over. How hard is it to send a company wide email stating the call is canceled and respecting the time of your reps? That is just professionalism.
Seriously, people were on the call. The company has how many corporate leaders with access to the call, and the email. It doesn't take any time at all for the Leaders to handle this. Are you trying to say, the leaders should not be held accountable for dropping the ball on communicating to the field?
The people on the call are the 20% who want to build their business. We're not talking about the majority of distributors who are just working this in their spare time. These are folks like you who believe! Triple Diamonds and below.
You are proving my case in this issue. As long as the field doesn;t hold Global Verge Officers and top field leaders accountable, then the company will continue to flounder.
It is always better for the field to get the company moving in the right direction, then to have Jay Nixon (Mo. A.G.) or the FTC do it for you.
By the way …Georgetown is not just a university in Georgia. There's also
another one in Georgetown, Washington, D.C.
There's not one company that has been out this recent year that hasn't had
some problems including the new ones! That's the business folks …it happens!

Forgive me, but I miss your point on Georgetown, although I do have some very close friends who graduated from Gerogetown, and are great attorneys, and politicians… if there is such a thing
ROFLOL… Having problems is one thing, lacking transparency, violating your own policies, moving money offshore because US based merchants will not do business with you, based on the "F" ratings in the credit and business rating, both personally and business is another. Not paying distributors for ANY reason not once, but in each time a new company is formed, is not anything like start-up issues all companies face.
Global Verge is not a new company, it is just a new corporate shell from E-Verge. As for "tens of thousands of distributors who stuck it out." Where do you get your numbers? I have triple diamonds sharing the current commissions and they do not add up to tens of thousands of reps. But let's assume you are correct. Let's put your comment in perspective. Bernie Madoff invested billions of dollars as did Alan Standford, each becoming billionaires in their own right, and earning their clients millions of dollars over the years (on paper anyway.) People who were smart, had years of wisdom in the investment field, and in their own niches. I am sure these same people felt the same way you do… Then one day they woke up and it was to late!
I fully respect your position and if I was walking in your shoes, I can see myself proceeding just as you are. And as I have said from day one, if Global Verge pulls this off, it will not be due to the founders it will be due to the distributors.

Just to set the record straight, there NEVER WAS A CERTIFICATION CALL!! Therefore, one could NOT have been cancelled. Yes, there was a date set that the Certification was to be available online, but never a date set for a CALL THAT NOONE SHOWED UP FOR!!!! This is a PERFECT example of twisting the truth, so, careful where you get your information from.

Just listening to the top video on this page …you said you hadn't even blogged about Proxycom, FDI etc. Let's go click on your Scam Alerts because you have in fact reported on them and a few others and maybe have forgotten. We all get super busy! It would be remiss of people who actually DO their "due diligence' to think one can turn a cherry into a watermelon. We only ask that wether or not you or we or anyone else is right or …wrong, that we report it for what it is and not go back into the past and try to present it as if it were current when in fact alot of the past issues have now been resolved. We think you do a great job here otherwise we wouldn't be reading your online column and reports. But lets do the right thing by everyone and not just a few …let's give credit where credit is due and find ways to uplift people who are trying their best and maybe some who are still operating in total darkness!

Lets also make it clear, I have NEVER said I was right about the demise of Global Verge. I will say we write based on public facts, past and current case law, and of course some opinion based on owning, running and building direct selling companies.
I find it interesting, that you do not want people to go back and look at the track record… WHY? Although we all have things we are not proud of, most of us out grow them. People must be held accountable. If these same issues had not come up over and over again, the past would not be so important. Had all this not happened during the time when distributors were not getting their hard earned money, it would not be a big deal. Had GV not field a lawsuit in October it would not be a big deal. BUt… Since internationally respected technology magazines are carrying the story, I think it is important, past, present and future.

We're not coming at you with disdain, only that there sure does seem to be alot of people very confused about all of this and for 2 people who are NOT confused …it's difficult at best for those who are to see beyond the trees in the forest and so goes the network marketing industry. This doesn't happen to just one of any kind of technological company but it happens with all! We've done our research (thank you) and for what we found about some of the other companies featured in these posts …you could literally throw most anything against the wall and expect it to stick! Can we please get back to your best reporting and leave this one alone for awhile? Good things ARE happening and so long as that continues, no one should have a rock left to throw until it blows up and sinks into the ground with the biggest thud of all!

What "one of a kind technology company" are you referring? I've been fair to all the companies, and we have four new series coming out on WOW, FDI, GI Connect and TeleVerus in January bring folks up to date on several issues they all face. The difference in those companies and Global Verge, is ALL of those CEOs have come forward and talked with us, sent us product to test, and been willing to admit, there have been mistakes.
Time will tell, and with leaders like you, GV may just pull it off.

Troy you were way too easy on Partners. Who is he anyway?? He wants to put the truth out there but does not let anyone know who he is and why we should listen to anything he has to say. I can not wait for the diehards to find his post. As I have stated before I started with GV in May. became a triple diamond with my biz partners and friends. Many of which will not take my phone calls or emails anymore. Lost many longterm relationships thru the GV SCAM. Their BAIT and SWITCH is like one I have never seen before. I just hope with strong powerfull people like you Troy you can stop this from happening with many other people. If Partners had any REAL info this person never read in their post. All I got out of them was please do not look at our history and all the liew we have already told only look at the shiny new "AMC Gremlin" . Gv is just getting to be an old story. Partners is very much one of those top Diamonds making the cash. If he thinks like any of the others do, he knows full well that the Global Verge company itself is in shambles and has very little chance at doing anything with their wireless product but he doesn't really care because of the payout on the $99/month. What Partners doesn't know is there are actually companies out there with a viable wireless product, solid infrastructure, and a MUCH better comp plan payout! There have been some Double Diamonds that have plugged their numbers into another company's comp plan and they were FLOORED at how much bigger their income would have been!
I'm not going to name the company because I'm not here to recruit. I'm simply here to point out the absolute B.S. behind Global Verge.

We are very honest, ethical and professional business leaders for some 30 years now. We happen to have "ordinary' people in OUR organization with GV earning eXtraordinary income. The difference between us and most people out there is that we take the time to teach people wether or not we or …someone else sponsored them. If they're in our group, they HAVE access to personlized training from us almost on a 24/7 basis due to time zones worldwide!
Each and every person has the right to make their own decision as to what company they work with. It is not up to you to charge at what choices anyone else makes. In fact, you have no control nor should you what choice any one person makes but that of your own.

It is not to your advantage to continue attacking other people and leaders in any company. Anyone still promoting Global Verge is disgusting, at best. Try to spin it any way you want, THEY LIED!!!! About EVERYTHING. They were recently on a call telling people they are a true MVNO. Told people back in the Zero1 days that they had working phones, and later came out and said none existed. Petschell and Robbins are liars, thieves, cons, and their track record proves it. You hit a great point on this one. I have yet to find over five network marketing companies which even allow their distributors to represent another company without risking termination.
I fully understand the concept of "multiple streams of income" however, trying to do it with multiple MLM companies will not allow the person or their team to grow to the level of success they desire. It does protect them from one company such as GV from ripping all their income away, but it also sends a mixed message to their team.
My big question, is how do you decide what companies to add to your portfolio?
I know several top leaders in different companies who use Send Out Cards, not because they are building it, but because they love the service. However, on the back of the card, it gives their distributor websites, and in several cases they were brought up on charges of cross recruiting by others because of this, and had to take time away from growing their business to defend their actions.
If a person can't find a legitimate company to represent and give it their all, then I question the longevity of success inside of MLM. This works with affiliate programs, but I have yet to find anyone who have become financially independent using this business model with several MLM companies.
I would be interested to know each company they represent, so I could read through the P&Ps to see if they are violating any of them. If they are, then they are leading their organization down a very slippery slope.

YOU make a good point also! Although MOST competing industry companies DO in fact have Terms and Policies against being involved in another SAME or SIMILAR competing industry – the fact is that if a person is involved in one company that is in the Health & Wellness industry and another that happens to be in another industry such as wireless phones, pre-paid legal or some other interesting company they've joined …it generally is not a problem.
However, a problem exists when a person belonging to one company then goes and promotes another company (similar or not) to people in their downline. That's what is known as "unethical", thus the problem with cross-promoting. According to Ethics 101, it is not sound judgemet or ethical to SPONSOR the same person in one or more companies and rightfully so. Otherwise, we hope a person has the energy, financial resources and where-with-all if they're going to engage in promoting more than one business!

Of course ,we hand it to everyone that does their "Due Diligence" but really …name calling of people you don't know and have never worked with isn't necessary. Again, it's not very productive to burn bridges with people you don't know that you either are working with currently and don't realize it or that you may want to work with sometime in the future.

I can understand as folks new to posting here at MLMHelpDesk it may seem as if they are acting unprofessional and just calling folks names. However, as you wrote above, without knowing their backgrounds and the emotional and financial pain they have gone though the last few months with GV, it is hard to understand.
A few of these folks stood to make thousands of dollars some close to six figures, just to see their autoships canceled and downlines moved for no reason. When they asked about the situation, they were blown off by old management and the officers of the company. Still they continued to promote the business assuming it would all get taken care of… It was not.
Instead, the blame was put on the software company and former leadership.
Others have taken a look at your blog, and let's be straightforward, first impressions go a long ways on the Internet, and with an unfinished blog, and you talking about 30 years in the business, it does cause people to wonder. Now personally I realize the blog may have been old, or one you have decided not to use. But when you are promoting a company who also does things in a half way manner, I am sure you can understand the frustration.
You have made some valid points and I appreciate the value you add here at the community.
Just realize, peoples reputations, and lively hood was taken from them.
So, hang in there, and as time moves forward, I am sure you will see some folks agree with you.

All of this sound familar? It should, as we both heard much the same with ALW.
I remember our first office and our CEO using a wooden door on saw horses for a desk.
I remember all those who said we were shams, crooks, cults, stealing from the unspecting.
I remember the comissioner of Ins. in GA. telling us he would personally put us out of business.
I remember the attorney generals of some states declaring cease and desist orders to shut us down.I remember the personal attacks on our leaders (one a felony convection) the other with a dream.
I remember all the "THEY's" and their powers, and the misery they spread on us for years. How many dreams were destroyed then by all the "THEY's"? Who won that one Troy?
Is this for real? Will it suceed? Will it fail? I for one will not let the "They's" decide for me, as I will wait the verdict from the "real world', not the theys from the court of blog opinion.

In some cases it does sound familar. However, their are some big differences.
1. Bo Adams was never an officer of the company, and Art never hid the fact he had served time on a felony.
2. I have never really warried about the offices on GV, except for the fact, they hid the fact they had moved over a year before and have pretended they were something they were not. Art never pretended anything. He was very straightforward and proud of what his team was doing. He never blamed the field for the shortcomings of the company.
3. Art always took full responsibilities for the shorcomings of the company, and gave credit to the field for our successes.
4. As for the headline I used in this post. The facts came from the lawsuit Global Verge filed against Zer01. If you read the article and listen to my video then you know it's aimed more at Zer01 than Global Verge. However, it does question the wisdom of the officers of Global Verge.
Art never pretended he was anything that himself. He never hid who we were or what we stood for. We took on an industry who were raping the middle American people. I have been on this story from day one. I have never focused on Mark's criminal record and did not really think it mattered.
I even took GV off the Scam Alert for a few weeks, when it finally looked as if they were moving forward.
However, it's hard to give much more room to the leaders in a company who continue to blame their distributors for their short comings and refuse to answer the hard questions.
One last thing. Art Williams never stole form his distributors, moved downlines for personal gain or the gain of his friends. Everyone was equal until they proved otherwise.
His love for Bo showed where his heart was at. And in over 30 years not one person can be found who will say Art Williams screwed me out of my commissions.
Wayne you are a true hero, and it is leaders like you which will be the saving grace of Global Verge.

Ok, let me get this right, GV continues to drop the ball and now they are telling all e-associates who have been inactive for 60 days that they will have to pay another entrance fee (Read below from the email below). HELLO??? Who screwed up here. Who was the one that told all the associates that they can put their auto ship on hold till they get the mobile product going and even in the email he admits they still don't have it right. To me, this is simply looking like Mark and Ted want to make more money out of the e-associates. It's like the are stealing from the e-associates. It's one thing if an e-associate has been inactive for 6 or 8 months, but 60 days??? and this should only happen if a company is running a business that is delivering service that works. Give me a break!!!!!! This is infuriating!!!!! It's not the e-associates fault there are all these issues. It's all Ted and Mark to blame. To me, this is criminal what they are trying to pull here. When is the insanity going to stop. I thought I read and seen it all. Global Verge has given the MLM industry a bad name and I hope people will not put up with this anymore.

I think in this situation, these folks forget what they said or wrote. Or maybe this is something left over from Steve Lewis and they do not feel they have to live up to it.

It's a very sad day when so called "Professionals" engage in such name calling and insults towards people. Listen, we agree that there are "scumbags" in a lot of business's. However, WE are not TWO of them as married partners in business. Point being …yes, there have been some issues with this, however, NOT everyone in the field is a bad person or a "scumbag" nor are they knowingly and willfully taking advantage. Of course, there are issues in most every company. There are also personalities that don't get along and meld together on any one thing. Does that mean that they're ALL bad people? Answer is a definitive NO!
Don't judge us because of what others are doing an don't judge us because of what may or may not be happening. We suggest this: Lay like broccoli – veg out – wait for the end result – watch closely. Are you having problems activating your phone?
There are 3 reasons why your phone may not automatically activate on the GM1 Network.

As everyone knows I have been focusing on other companies as we came into the new year. However, I have still had an ear to the ground watching whats going on. Can you give a littl update as to why this change needs to take place? Here are my questions.
1. They have launch the new certification program, which was suppose to clear a way for more facts and less hype, why is there still an issue?
2. Are they changing resellers again, and have to re-integrate the back office to another company?
I keep hearing good things from some folks and rotten things still form others, and I am still concerned with the overall stability of the company. Can you shed a little more light?
Just today I received word from a triple diamond their income had fallen again for the sixth straight month, which is never a good thing. And although they were never a huge triple diamond, they were making a good check, way above average.
Can you believe they are still pushing this garbage to the poor new people. Let me ask Troy's readers WHO thinks this is true?? Post your thoughts below.
I get emails with updates from a guy that's on the list. He forwarded this earlier.
- GV has had consultants inhouse for the last 60 days to evaluate the company. These same consultants have been instrumental in assisting Google in their explosive growth. Some very good things will come out of this.
2- GV is currently over a $35 million company and we have not even got things completely in order yet plus some of our products / services are not even fully in place yet w/ more to come. Remember, Excel didn't reach $30 million in sales until after its
6th year. Are we in a great place or what? It's about timing and opprtunity. We couldn't be in a better place. I hope you take advantage of it.
3- The next 30 days are going to be very exciting. Recruiting is exploding. New produts / services are coming. In general, 2010 is going to be an incredible year for those that seize the opportunity in front of them.

I am not sure if having Google Consultants is a good thing. From all the bad press Google is getting right now over their new Nexus One cell phone launch, I would be getting new consultants http://www.usatoday.com/tech/wireless/phones/2010…
Let's look at what they wrote…
1. What is the evaluation for? When most companies bring in business consultants to evaluate a company it is because the company is for sale, or is looking at putting itself up for sale. In a few cases it is to raise funds and take a company public. However, based on the owners backgrounds I do not think that is what this is.
2. I also find it interesting that GV is saying consultant's are instrumental is Google's growth, when that is never mentioned in the Google annual reports.
3. I love the "Over $35 million dollar company" What is written on paper is so different than what is reality. I would love to see the $35 million in assets. I must assume this is the amount of sales the company is talking about. It is so fun to see privately held company's quote dollar amounts publicly in emails and on websites these days. Most never give a thought to the fact, the IRS, SEC and FTC watch for these types of enticements to lure investors and distributors to their company. It will be very interesting to see what is listed on the 2009 corporate tax return.
4. I always love it when people want to go back to the 1980s to find a company they can use as a benchmark. Why not use, let's say eFusjon. Now most know I have been hard on this company because their overall business model needs some fixing to line up with FTC rules. However, there is no way to dismiss the facts. They launched in September of 2008 around the same time as GV and has done $28 million in the last 12 months. So, why does Gv think their number is so record breaking. Ignite Energy did over $500 million in their third year,a dn may have gone over $1 billion in annual revenue this year.
I would question the numbers, and if the truth be told, the $35 million quated came from membership fees, not from telecommunication services sold.
5. I am preparing a 3 to 5 part series on a MLM Wireless company which has done what GV talked about doing and could never get rolling. I have been using a 100% VOIP cell phone for the last 45 days, with NO SIM CHIP in it at all. I wonder what their income will be in 2010?
6. As for recruiting expoding… Their website numbers sure do not show any EXPLOSION!
My hat is off to those who have weathered the storm at GV, especially at the top, the consolidation of legs will keep their income high, and may allow them to bring in some new blood. However, I have still never heard an I AM SORRY from Global Verge for causing their reps so much trouble. All I have ever heard is them blaming others.
Time will tell, and it will without a doubt go down in history one way or another.

I can tell you that the system GV has in place will never work. Not only do they not have actual SIM Cards or phones in stock (hence the 40 to 60 days people have been waiting for theirs) but now they're requiring their reps to send phones physically back to GV in order to activate them. ????? Are you kidding me? Can you imagine Verizon taking an order over the phone and asking the customer to send the phone back to Verizon's headquarters and require the customer to be without a phone for 10 days. LOL! Are you actually serious GV people? Come on!

Many Cellular phone companies are like this! They simply DO NOT want their clientele to use ANY OTHER wireless service …NO MATTER WHAT! They WILL even re-contract ones CONTRACT after it's expired WITHOUT getting the clients permissions!
IF there's at least SOME HONEST people in this world that VIE for FREEDOM OF CHOICE and will UNLOCK a phone RATHER THAN the cellular services available WHO WILL NOT UNLOCK a phone to PREVENT someone from changing carriers …YAY FOR THEM and for US, YOU and OTHERS TOO!

Don't look now but guess what? There were sure A LOT of GV Members that already had their SIM CARDS and PHONES as of almost 2 months ago now! WE KNOW because …we ALREADY had ours! So there goes your argument that …"Not only do they not have actual SIM Cards or phones in stock" …hmmm.
As it so happens "Verizon" is one of the wireless providers that WON'T UNLOCK their cell phones. WHY? Because like several others, they don't WANT their customers going elsewhere to get their wireless services! Anyone CAN unlock their phone and that's IF they know what they're doing and/or have a key code to unlock it or know someone who does. Of course SOME wireless companies WILL in fact UNLOCK a phone IF the person is going out of country for an extended period of time and has need to have their phone unlocked!
There IS NO REQUIREMENT for anyone to send their phones physically back to GV in order to activate them either, that is merely an additional option for those that are not cell phone savvy.

As to people having their income with GV falling in any given time period …of course you realize with all the issues and the newer things having been put in place solidly …there HAVE been THOSE who dropped out and THUS the lowered monthly commissions.
You're RIGHT! Having ones commission fall from one month to the next is NEVER a good thing but REALIZING we're all HUMAN and SOME don't have the patience or the where-with-all to understand EVERYTHING going on …they have gone off autoship and that doesn't lead to the SAME exact commission as one would have IF their team members had'nt gone off autoship, closed their positions, been termnated for non-compliance issues or simply held a "wait and see" attitude.
We'd humbly ASK EVERYONE to "kick back" …."Take a break from negativity" and SEE what's really going on BEFORE making ANY FINAL Decision!
So Sorry guys please admit when you have been SCAMED big time. READ it and weep.

Yes, the company is solid. They've been through the school of hard knocks already. They have multiple binaries, lot's of breakage (money going back to the company), and a 15 page Comp. Plan that noone can understand.

Let me set the record straight and give you the facts. That EX-Verizon Rep Ruth was referring to is a woman in my group. She owned a Verizon store back when Verizon first got started and commented on how things were not perfect with them either for a LONG TIME!!! They had many delays, they advertised products that took 8 months to come to market. She had a $10,000/mo. overhead, so she's seen this before, lived it, actually, and she's very excited about what she has here. That was the whole point of the reference.
