Former Vemma Ambassadors Jeff and Elizabeth Hooks Come Home To Build A New Second Wave Of Vemma Leaders

In the last 12 to 18 months I have seen more legal actions between companies and former top distributors than I have in my 25 years of adult life in Direct Selling aka MLM/Network Marketing. So when BK Boreyko brought this story to me I knew I wanted to report on it.

I pray this story of how the Vemma family accepted Jeff and Elizabeth Hooks back into their family of Brand Partners, and how BK’s actions as a founder and leader were the catalyst in creating this culture, will resonate with other MLM Leaders, and maybe we can stop the insane lawsuits and come together to build this great profession.

I want to thank BK & Jeff for trusting me to share this story. trust is something that is earned, and these two leaders have not only trusted me, they have completely earned my trust and respect as leaders who want the best, not just for their company, but for the greater Direct Selling Profession!

  1. Troy,

Without a doubt, the business of building relationships is the foundation of great leaders and companies. They say MLM will reveal your character, and it truly shines with this story, specially when looking at all those involved, thanks for taking the time to share this with your followers and sharing your character as well my friend.

PS: I know I will share this story. Thanks again!

  2. Troy, thank you for publishing this story. More mlm owners need to be like BK at Vemma and Tom Schreiter at Vitamark. It's one thing to say you care about the distributors…it is quite another to prove it over decades.

I have seen these two live by the admonition of 1 Corinthians 6:7 where it says: "Really, then, it means altogether a defeat for YOU that YOU are having lawsuits with one another. Why do YOU not rather let yourselves be wronged? Why do YOU not rather let yourselves be defrauded?"

The principle here is that when you fight amongst yourselves, you hurt everyone. Not saying there is never a time for litigation, but too many mlm companies are insane with who they will threaten and sue and give no regards to the damage it does to the profession as a whole.

Kudos to BK for handling a sensitive matter in house and keeping things cool.

Also, it is very big of the Hooks to allow you to share this story. I can only imagine how good they feel to be home and am sure they will have massive success!

  3. Troy,

This is an incredible and heartwarming story! This is what it takes to create and maintain a family within a company and business. It's not everyday that one finds such leaders that have more " principles and character " than the love of money. To return " back home " in a company and start from square one takes alot of fortitude and heart. The honesty and ethics with which this was handled is phenomenal in an industry that's had such turmoil recently and we're not just talking Health & Wellness but the entirety of the Multi Level Marketing and Direct Sales Industry.

Our congratulations to Jeff and Elizabeth and to B.K. for handling a business and two obviously wonderful people returning home to their beloved business family!

Great style and a Great Business!

  4. Vemma is a great company, thanks for all you do Troy, MLM is great for this country and the whole world. There is still a chance for the little guy to make it in this world.

  5. I love it Troy! Vemma is an awesome company and I'm proud they are part of our MLM profession!
